List of Piedmont Columbus Regional Northside Campus's Reviews
I would avoid using this facility for elderly relatives. My mother was a patient for 1.5 weeks, yet the Surgeon Dr Stewart was the only person who bothered to inform the family of anything. They didn't even have the decency to let my mom change into the cloths that I brought, made her transport an hour in a hospital gown. No respect given to patients.
I have always heard good things about Peidmont Northside but obviously based on our experience there is a lack of consistency. I brought a 74 year old friend that has a history of blood clots here around 10 am on a Monday. The lady in the front reception area was very rude. Their triage process is acceptable with a wait time of 15 min or so. However, when they called him back 40 min later for the sonagram of his calve area of the suspected blood clot, he waited over an hour and a half for the sonogram to be conducted. Blood clots are deadly and there is NO sense of urgency here at all. There are serious organizational flaws that quite frankly will not be resolved unless someone dies as a result of their lack of sense of urgency in this emergency department.
Everything about this hospital was amazing! I’ve had two emergency surgery’s here and both times was a great experience. My nurse Tanya was extremely good to me and I’m thankful I had such good doctors & nurses. I recommend this place to anybody.
sat here for 4 hours without being seen, was told I would still be charged even though no one saw me and I’m gonna have to go somewhere else to be seen .. DO NOT RECOMMEND this hospital
Went in last night for an infection that is antibiotic resistant and had the best care I've ever had at any ER around here. They really took care of me and I am so grateful for Dr. Corbin and Nathan!
Intake personnel are extremely rude and absolutely do not care about you or your loved one. Wait times in the ER are far worse than other ER’s and my mom went in on a slow night. We hardly ever use any ER unless it’s absolutely necessary but learned to never use this one again.
I have COVID and I had to go to the ER yesterday because I was having chest pains. I’ve been to the other ERs and I’ve never liked going because I always get rushed and not taken cared of. I loved the nurses and the front staff they were all so sweet and profesional! Please don’t change! I was afraid that with having COVID that they wouldn’t care for me but as soon as I said I had chest pain they took X-rays and they also prescribed me medicine which has been so helpful! I loved that it’s a smaller ER too! I will definitely be going again if I ever need anything again.
As I continue to sit in the lobby and wait (it's been 3 hours thus far) and a shift change at the front desk. I was in a MVA earlier today. I hit my head, and cannot turn my head from side to side. I am in pain and suffering, the 2 females at the front desk are talking and laughing like teens while I am ignored. Worst experience ever.
Nurses are HORRIBLE they do not take anything you say serious its pathetic.
I had an excellent experience. From my pre op appointment until the time I walked out of the hospital. The staff was amazing and you could tell they all cared about to the patients and were there to help in any way. When I say everyone I mean everyone, the folks that delivered my food, the volunteers, nursing staff and even the transport. I wouldn’t hesitate to come to this hospital. My nurse Heather was amazing! She really cared for me and listened to my needs and advocated for me! Awesome experience!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
