Piedmont Urgent Care - Columbus Blackmon Road's Online Review Report Card

Tried this place twice. Highly disappointed and the two staff members I spoke with were incredibly rude and insensitive. Unprofessional.

They close at 8pm but would not see my son and it was 7pm

Went in for a covid test in January and they do not file insurance correctly or submit necessary documents correctly for insurance.

Went into my room after I watched the lady before me leave at 8:45. I was the 2nd person there, 8am. I didn’t leave until 10:45… i know they’re short staffed but it just doesn’t make sense.

Can’t believe it’s legal for a doctor to refuse treat a patient in this state.

DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE - I am not sure how they can stay open after reading all the reviews on Facebook following my own terrible experience. I went in for a covid test on 7/24, filled out all the paperwork since my last visit was in 2018. I should have left the minute they told me they were out of rapid tests. But I went ahead and allow them to do a PCR test. Waiting for results for several days and I finally get a call on day 5 that they have DISCARDED my test because they mislabeled the vials. I asked how this is possible, when I had just been asked to complete ALL new paperwork (I remarried in 2009!) and I have not used my previous name since 2009. They could not explain it, it took them 5 days to call me and tell this? What a bunch of incompetent people work here? but now that I have experienced it myself and reading all the other reviews, I can see why people write such negative things. DO NOT go to this facility... they need to be SHUT DOWN.

Had to take my son today for an injured foot. I can't say enough how amazing our experience was! everyone from the door to the checkout were great! Friendly, clean, and even joked with my son and I! will definitely go back! Thank you Dr. Watson!

Wow I’m just appalled and in shock that this facility remains open. I have visited here twice before, did not have any issues. However, I visited this past Saturday to test for covid. I should have known right away when they told me they ran out of rapid tests, that I should have gone elsewhere. I went ahead and stayed, completed the paperwork and got tested. The PCR test can take 3 to 5 days, so finally today they called me to tell me that my test was DISCARDED because the labels did not match! How is that possible? And why did it take this long for me to be notified? They were using my previous last name and I’ve been married since 2009! I competed ALL my paperwork with my current name, yet they still used my previous name? What type of system do these people use? DO NOT bother visiting, if they are not capable of properly labeling tests vials, you can only imagine what other problems they have. Close this place down!

I read the reviews before I went …… but decided it could not be that bad . WRONG !! My regular doctor was sick and her office sent me to this Urgent Care . After I waited outside for 20 minutes someone came out and asked why I needed to be seen . I said neck and shoulder pain . She flat out told me they could not help me . I questioned why my doctor (who is within the Piedmont group ) would tell me to come there . She said she did not know , but they could not help me . She was rude and very dismissive . I am not one to give a bad review , but this certainly calls for some action . Save your time ….. just don’t go there .
