I love Dr. McRae and his staff!
I was referred to Dr. McRae over 25 years ago. I was high risk with both of my pregnancies because of my age and I was told he was the best in Columbus. That was true then and still true now. He delivered both of my children and saved me from having a cesarean with my daughter. He is a very caring, thorough and attentive doctor.
I Love him!! The best hands down!
Nice doctor and staff
I love doctor McRae and his wife. I been going to Dr. McRae since 1992. He delivered all three of my kids. I love how he treat you he get right to the point.
Dr. McRae is a great doctor, but his staff.. not so much. I went there last year and constantly had trouble get my birth control prescription filled. I also had an incident there where the lady on the phone wasn’t helpful at all. I was calling due to my cycle lasting 3 or 4 weeks and intense cramping and the lady on the phone blamed it on me saying “I must’ve not been taking my birth control correctly”. Fast forward to this year, I’m military and quickly get moved out of the state for the course of 6 months making me miss my appointment. I canceled and even tried calling to let them know why, I was met with sarcasm and it felt like they didn’t care. (I even called and let my insurance know I’d be gone) I let it slide, but now when I am just returning home, I realize my birth control will no longer be fulfilled. I never once received an email or anything. I’m just more confused than anything to be honest.
Doctor mcrea delivered me via c section almost 28 years ago in july he will deliver my first son hes still.my moms dr. And my grandmothers. He delivered my niece and nephew over 10 years ago . He is very well versed on high risk deliveries it's one of his many specialities.. I mean hes your man . He stays up to date on new techniques and has the training and qualifications you would want in a doctor it's like going to see family. His bedside manner is so good and hes sweet and funny . Best doctor ever.
I’m having a robotic myomectomy on Tuesday. Had my pre-op today. The nurses are very friendly and made me feel comfortable. They answered all my questions. I’ll come back with a comment after my surgery. Great place to go!
I am a new patient at Dr.Mcraes office and I actually loved the atmosphere , his nurses and he was a very attentive and kind guy. I was very happy because I haven’t always had the best experience with other OBGYNS. So after my appointment I received the call stating all my STD testing came back clear however their were some abnormal things found in my lab work , me being worried I asked when I could come in. They told me he wouldn’t be able to even speak with me until the next month. I figured this wasn’t life threatening since they can wait that long to tell me. So I said okay and we set aside time for us to speak. I called the nurse to make sure a few days before and could never reach her. I kept having to leave messages and when she finally reached me back my phone rang once and hung up. No voicemail or message saying that she called to go over anything. So I got pissed and called back and had to leave another message then finally she called back and confirmed the time and date. Then tells me I have to pay my $60 co pay. IM AUTOMATICALLY PISSED! Why do I have to pay $60 to speak with him for 10 mins. So she transfers me to Cassandra the manager and she tells me that I should be happy they don’t charge customers to just talk over the phone like some offices. I’ve NEVER had to pay a copay just to have a small conversation with a doctor my primary r any other specialist and the fact that it took me over a month to even get my appointment the first time but this time it was within days confirmed I feel it shouldn’t be considered a real appointment. All in all Dr.Mcrae is a great doctor but his staff needs to learn better customer service and if you’re gonna work in the medical field care enough about your customers to where they don’t have to pay $60 just to even speak with you considering you NEED to tell them what’s going on with them health wise. We’re not all just full of money we can blow for small simple things like a conversation. I have bills and other things I have to pay for. I already have health issues and pay an arm and a leg for my medications now I have to pay just to find out I have more issues. Don’t get me wrong there’s no price you can put on knowing your health but $60 is ridiculous just to have a 10 mins convo and walk out of the office. If that’s the case I might as well do the entire appointment over.
He delivered my daughter 4 months ago I love him .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
