Karen Lynne Weiss-Schorr's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Karen is a very good doctor and I like her. However the office manager and staff are not responsive to patients needs. I had a colonoscopy done and don't have health insurance so I paid out of pocket up front. I was told this was an all inclusive payment and I would receive no further bills. I have been receiving bills from their payment department for almost as much as I already paid. The office manager Brandy won't return my call and it's been six weeks and this has not yet been resolved. I have to go back for another scan in a year and I really don't want to have to find another provider due to this billing issue.

We are so grateful for the care given to our dad through this journey. Dr. Weiss-Schorr was integral in his diagnosis as well as with recommendations for his care at every crossroad. Our parents had a long term relationship with her office and always spoke of her in high regard. With sincere appreciation from the James Laudermilk family.

It was my first and last. Rudest and no personality Specialist THAT I have ever encountered. Dr. Weiss Schorr needs to act at least like she likes her patients. She made me feel very uncomfortable and I had to return later in the afternoon. I heard her say to Calandra her nurse "What is she doing here?" Instead of seeing me and asking me. She asks her nurse than walks away disgusted. She thinks I didn't hear her but I did. I canceled a upcoming endoscopy with her as I don't feel safe with a Dr who treated me with such a demeaning manner. Save yourself the headache and stay away from Dr Weiss Schorr she only likes to hear herself speak and if you say anything she is quick to put you in your place. Get some bedside manner or retire Dr Schorr Weiss The staff Calandra and Shonda are awesome. However, My experience with my first visit with Weiss Schorr was AWFUL. PATIENT BEWARE!

We (husband and wife) have been seen for years by Dr. Weiss-Schorr as well as my mother before her death. She takes a lot of time with us and answers all questions. No problems with any procedures. Endoscopy and Colonoscopy done every 3-5 years.

Dr Karen Weiss-Schorr is the rudest,uncaring dr ever. Had to wait 5 months to get the medicine that I needed after my colonoscopy. Told her nurse I did not like her wanted to change to another doctor so she became very vindictive prescribed medicine that was $1800 when I could’ve had some different medicine or even a generic for the $1800 medicine she did everything she could to delay my healing so that I would have a severe flareup couldn’t eat couldn’t or drink for 12 days sick as a dog and would not refer me to get a CT scan said I had to wait a week for a visit first before she would do that so I said I will go to the hospital to get help and I will never go back to her ever , very vindictive and uncaring.

I love Dr. Weiss-Schorr and her staff.My husband and I had back to back procedures and were in and out in three hours but were very well cared for and not rushed. Dr. Weiss- Schrorr always explains and educates us.

Front desk is very unorganized. Had a procedure done and called Dr. Weiss-Schorr's office twice and left two messages. It took the doctor a week in a half to call me back. Still experiencing stomach pains and will not return. Plus the billing area of the office is so unorganized. Paid a bill and then was reported to bill collections. Will not recommend or return.
