I visited this facility when I became incredibly ill with pneumonia. I, having had it before, and having a respiratory therapist for a mother, knew what I had. The person I saw insisted it was the flu. They took swabs and tested and even after they came back negative, they still insisted it was the flu. I had to hold my ground to get an x-ray referral so that it could be confirmed and I could start my proper treatment. I received a call from the pharmacy the day after my xray letting me know my prescription was ready. This office never even called to notify me of the results or that I even had prescriptions being sent to my pharmacy. Had they never called, I wouldnt have known until I reached out myself. I guess they didnt want an "I told you so" after they saw the results.On my follow up (which I was reluctant to even attend) the vast majority of my conversation with the physician was him trying to press me to get a flu vaccine to get his rating up (apparently theres a scoring system showing how good of a doctor they are based on how many vaccines they administer, or so he told me). Even after telling him flu vaccines make me incredibly sick, he continued to press the matter. Not even considering, if I get incredibly sick from them historically, and I'm still recovering from pneumonia what the result could be! This is one of several piedmont facilities I've had issue with.
