List of Piedmont Physicians At Sigman Road's Reviews
Dr. Shewmake is an amazing doctor. She is very thorough. Her bedside manner is amazing. I have not experienced this level of service in a while. She educates patient to make sure they understand. After seeing several physicians I still had symptoms. She was able to get to the root of my issue and resolve it. She makes sure all docs that needed to be signed was signed immediately. She accepted me as a new patient. Very well pleased with her level of professionalism and experience.
Always seen quickly and professionally!
Horrible, they only want your money, front desk staff had me stand there to download my insurance card info, said she couldn’t just take the numbers. After i download it she say she can’t take it like that.

The lady at the door was very rude and disrespectful to me and when I said something about it the doctor grilled me about my response and said “she wasn’t” and told me that I’m bipolar. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a physicians office and I will never go back.
If I could give no stars I would. The absolute worst experience I’ve ever encountered at this facility. Being a healthcare professional myself I am very understanding to the new standards and procedures amid COVID-19. Upon arrival I was quickly greeted, I gave the receptionist my symptoms and then was told to wait. I was asked if I wanted a video or car visit I insisted on a car visit. I finally get called to pay my copay, I attempted to hand my card to the receptionist at the door and she then instructed me to go in and pay because that was easier. I go in pay my copay then was told that I would have to repay my copay because my appt was put in as a video call. While at the counter Dr. Cilaro walked up and rudely stated to the receptionist she’s not doing car visits for COVID symptoms and why are they letting people in to pay their copay and why my appointment was switched to a car visit. The receptionist kept trying to tell her that she was talking about me but she kept on. I felt so uncomfortable I chose to just wait out in the hallway. You’re honestly better off going across the street to the hospital. The Doctors here lack compassion and you can clearly tell they do not genuinely Carr for patients and that’s very sad.
Walking into this clinic in pretty bad shape, Dr. Shewmake took immediate action, made a clear and correct diagnosis, did xrays immediately and referred me to the best back surgeon. All I can say is THANK YOU! Great Job Dr Shewmake and to the rest of the staff. Respectfully, Diana Kiger
SHAME, SHAME, SHAME! I called today (Jan 30, 2019) to make an appointment and the young lady was so unprofessionally rude (RUDE) . After getting my name, there was nothing but "DEAD SILENCE" for about a full 90 seconds, I finally asked "If there is anything else you need" again nothing but silence. So I called back and she had the nerve to say "It's A Great Day at Piedmont Urgent Care" Really? That type of behavior is just unacceptable. I will certainly take my business someplace else. I'm just sorry that Dr. Dina A. Onwuka is associated with this office. People are spending their monies or paying their high premiums to get health care and this type of nonchalant service is RUDE. But sometimes it's just like statistics say: Young People are Milk People they think everyone owes them sometime and that they are doing us a Favor.... You're wrong Kiddo, I just wished I had your name so that I can make a formal report to Piedmont and have you with that "nonchalant, I don't care, I'm hanging up you, attitude, FIRED"You won't go far in life with that attitude and it is just a matter of time before your poor deeds catches up with you.
Website and their door says open at 8am. I had a fall and think I may have broken something. Not sure. I showed at 8:15am. No one there, and not a car in the parking lot. I waited for over an hour. I finally left at 9:20am. Still no one there. While I waited three others showed and waited. Two other patients showed and left. You call to try and get some idea of what to do (go to ER or other option) and they say on message if the deem your call NOT urgent, they will charge you $20. So, basically, you have no way of even finding out if anyone will show. I am not surprised by all of this, as my experience made me look at reviews here. Unprofessional, rude, apathetic staff. I guess so apathetic, they don't even show up to open the office.
I called first for pricing and to see if an appointment could be made. Lorena was extremely nice and helpful. You can make an appointment on line. The receptionist was friendly. I was literally there for 30 minutes total, including paperwork. It was quite empty. I don’t know why the ratings are so low. The young lady at the check out was not as friendly and I could see why some would complain about attitude. But I would definitely come back. The visit for self pay was $89.00

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
