MIchael Paul Cecil's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr Cecil for 5 years. I have found him to be easy to talk to professional interested in his patients and the right man for the community. I highly recommend him. And I have never had a problem with his staff.

Office staff is a joke I’m a 28 year old man who was having heart issues. I came in for one visit which I paid for upfront out of pocket as a cash patient. The only reason why I went there is because my father was a patient at their practice. I collected a receipt at the end of my visitwhich I still have which showed a zero balance . Four months later they start sending random letters in the mail to my parents home where I don’t live I just don’t get junk mail sent to my house threatening me they would take legal matters to pursue me if I didn’t pay a remaining balance owed? There was no remaining balance. My father and I have the same name so my mother thought that was for him so she paid the “claimed” balance . After I found out about it I called their office and they clearly don’t care about their customers. All they want is money. I tried to shine light on why my mom sent them payment and I told them they can reimburse her the money and we can have a discussion on why I owe them money and what the charges were for almost half a year later . I did not have anyone listed on my HIPAA agreement to release my information to. So I’m surprised such a reputable company which I was made to believe would even accept payment from anyone that was not listed on my account . They said they didn’t care that they don’t give refunds. In other words they will collect bogus checks from random people and not return their money. This place is literally a joke. They scam customers into thinking they have debt with them. Threatening them over forty dollars. That’s fraud in my book. If anyone should take legal matters against anyone it should be me against them. After i found out about all this i called them so polite thinking this was all a mistake. No mistake my friend. I’m not big on negative reviews but i feel as if the local town I’m from should know about this practice. They don’t serve their community trust me. After our phone call all they care about is money. NOT THEIR CUSTOMERS

One of the few that when you go to see him he has and reviewed all your information before he sees you. not sitting there forever. with repeat questions and reviewing past. Very personable and efficient.

Dr. Cecil is a top rated physician and my entire family sees him now. He is extremely knowledgeable and truly cares about each one of his patients. He has been a blessing to our family.

Dr. Cecil’s knowledge and diagnostics are unequaled in Greater Atlanta. He is quite personable extremely well mannered few MD’s his caliber remaining in practice.

Dr. Cecil is a very good listener on time that wants to help people to get better. He is just what a Doctor suppose to be or used to be many years ago. He prepared himself on who i was and needed and examined me well and looked the records and then told me what was wrong and what needed to be done.

Dr. Cecil has cared for both my sister heart issues related to cancer and my dad in December 2016 and January 2017. He was very friendly and provided excellent compassionate care. I would highly recommend him.

I have been continually impressed with the attention Dr. Cecil has paid to me and my health issues. On a recent routine office visit my heart rate was 30 beatsmin. He showed immediate serious concern told me I was not going home. He immediately arranged for a pacemaker implant for the next day and walked me to the emergency room of the Covington hospital when he had me admitted. The pacemaker was implanted the next day and all has gone well since. He saved my life

I was first seen in the ER at Rockdale Medical Ctr. complaining of chest pain. Dr. Cecils practice was on duty and supervised my care for 24 hour observation. After administering all the indicated tests and ensuring that there was nothing wrong with my heart I was released. My followup visit with Dr. Cecil a week later was pleasant and reassuring. I have confidence in his medical acumen and you could not ask for a more personable physician. Highly recommended.

Dr. Cecil is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. He listens to my concerns and discusses my treatment options. Having been in the medical field for over 40 years it is great to know that I have such a skilled and knowledgeable Cardiologist managing my care. I never feel rushed but always feel that someone genuinely cares.
