Piedmont Newton Hospital's Online Review Report Card

Worst hospital visit ever. I went in with severe pain in my lower back. They did a urine test and checked my blood and said it wasn't my kidneys. Then they immediately jumped to me having covid! When I refused the test, they were done with me. I left in just as much pain as I arrived in and still no answers.

It really wouldn’t be right for me to give 1 star to this hospital because once I’m in for the most part the staff is nice, but the people you get on the phones are nasty with there response to you it very unprofessional. I totally understand the stress that their in but all of them need get on top of their customers service skill. The service I received was good, but the tone whom ever answers the phone is very nasty. As well as some of the nurses

this is far the WORST hospital EVERRRRR today I experienced the worst ever today I had asthma attack thank God it wasn't to bad cus I was sitting up there from 11pm -4am BUT THIS DOCTOR TIMOTHY HANLEY IS FAR BY THE WORST NURSE /DOCTOR EVER USUALLY WHEN I VISIT DUE TO ME HAVING AN ASTHMA ATTACK THEY WILL WRITE ME AN PRESCRIPTION GIVING ME THE INHALER AND ALSO THE ALBUTEROL LIQUID BUT THIS DOCTOR TIMOTHY HANLEY MAKE THE DECISION TO NOT WRITE ME AN PRESCRIPTION FOR BOTH HE SAID HE COULD ONLY DO ONE IS ONLY BECAUSE "HE DOESNT WANT TO " I NEVER HEARD OF THAT IN MY LIFE EVER AND I WAS VERY MUCH UPSET I WALKED OUT BUT I WILL BE FILLING A COMPLAINT AGAINST HIM !

I've been there one time when an ER doctor knew what he was doing. There have been some good people, it took my daughter who wasn't with me, doesn't live with me lives in Marietta - to get the attention awesome decent workers after 4 falls & trips to ER. Some of them did their jobs, however I cannot give Piedmont anything but a low review. I lay in the ER for over 3 hours with BP 288/177! Nurse finally came in said they were going to give me something for my BP because it was stroke level. Really, I suppose she thought I was stupid. Then she told me I wasn't taking my medication right & needed to look into assisted living! Had I felt better, I could have run circles around that little brat! The last time I was there, I needed a new neurologist but those idiots couldn't see that because they're not trained for CNS? They did not listen, became just so self-righteous because when they hurt me physically, I "cussed", big deal -linguistics and don't act like you have never heard anybody get fired up and curse! Trust me people you never want to be labeled as a "combative patient" or you will pay for it. Doesn't mean you have to financially!

The only reason I gave 1 star is because they do have good workers there. The issue I have is they have a "technician" that is extremely LAZY!!! When she came on she checked on me she was supposed to change my diaper. They had me on a do not get out of bed monitor I was not able to go to the restroom. The other technicians changed my diaper, She just looked at mine and left. I sat in my waste for 7 hours. When I pushed the "help" button she came back and said " I will be right back" she never came back. While I was waiting I became Thirsty I pushed the "help" button she never answered and the nurses brought me water. I told the nurse about my diaper and they finally talked her into changing my diaper.When she served me breakfast she put the plate in front of me and left. I have Parkinson's and was unable to use me hands and again she said " I will be right back" she never came. I continued to push the "help" button and she never came. I sat there with no water and had to yell "HELP" with no help. When the nurses came to check my blood I told them about the bad service and they finally talked her into bringing me some water.It was extremely stressful and my blood pressure went over 200 and I was worried I would not be able to leave. Thank god I had a nurse that finally helped. She is a liability to the hospital.

Piedmont Murder Newton Hospital! My family member, usually a healthy person with no prior serious ailments. Came into your Emergency room with pneumonia, was sent home with pneumonia. Returned once more with pneumonia, left out in a body bag! The family member's main cause of DEATH.... Heart attack🤯 I watched my family poor mdecial treatments and hastened diagnosis... All of you ....Your 👐 are tainted with innocent lives taking due to YoUR Neglect!! You had the nerve to hold my family body as Covid death, than retract it, because You knew you allowed family in the room, with blood all over my family member due to excess ventilation, provided by hench men! You push on the family member ventilation even when the family member didn't need it! The BLOOD monies you have profited from this Corona virus and DEATHS of our Love One's.... is NoT unseen! To the Creator We All come.... & to the Creator we'll all return.... Why are hospitals so terrible now? Can't somebody figure out how to solve a problem? This place makes people wait forever in the ER. If this hospital is too small to service the town, can't somebody build another one? Geez

My sister was seen here for possible stroke after 4 hours still no doctor. They advised us that they are waiting for the doctor to come in at 1:00pm. So the other doctor was so lazy that he or she didn't want to take a new patient. So why are you in medicine? You might want to rethink your career path. I can't give any lower than one star. Piedmont shame on you for having this facility to remain open and untrained, uncaring, and lazy medical staff.

Shout out Piedmont Newton Hospital Nursing Staff for listening to me the patient. I love how. the transporter the nurse listen and recheck everything before my surgery this is a good example of repeat and repeat back to the patient of what they are having sugery on and Dr. Parti thanks for making me feel very safe. overall just thanks because by the way I've been and Piedmont Henry employee for over 25 years
