Worst Dr I have ever witnessed! No compassion whatsoever. My sister has ALS and she just needed fluids for hydration and something to calm her anxiety and agitation because she couldn’t breathe and kept saying she was smothering and couldn’t breathe. He was so dismissive, had no compassion. Said there was nothing he could do. He was condescending and demeaning. When we 1st arrived at the ER, it was obvious that my sister couldn’t walk, couldn’t talk, couldn’t breathe. I told them it seemed she was having a stroke. She had no feeling on her left side. Alisa at check/in said they would get to us when they could. She said, “I’ve been trying to get patients through triage all day. She then took a piece of paper and wadded it up and threw it on the floor and slammed her hands on her desk. We were in the waiting room for 3 hours and 12 minutes. I have 2 Physicians in my family. They are in complete disbelief that she wasn’t taken back when we 1st arrived. We know there are other patients w emergencies, but. Unacceptabl!
it was terrible and you do not want to know why.
Dr. Adam Friedlander was wonderful when we were in the Northside Forsyth hospital. I was not well at all, but he was kind, listened and put me at ease. He explained things to us and I was so thankful he was my Dr. Great bedside manor. Thanks Dr. Adam! :)
Extremely knowledgeable, thorough , kind , professional; took time to explain and treat; was very impressed .
Very disappointed in his decision to 1013 me when I went in for not breathing well. They spent more time asking about suicidal thoughts than figuring out I was having a real panic attack. Frustrated ,I made a statement to them & next I was strapped to a bed & hauled off to Peachford where I was held for 5 days against my will. I met with the social worker & Dr at Peachford, they realized I was not suicidal, yet I had to stay 5 days because that's all my ins would pay. Didn't need detox either.
Misdiagnosed me and sent me home to die with full knowledge that it "could" have been another diagnosis (he said it was one or the other but thought it was the other.) Should have followed up with CT scan or blood test to rule it out. Had to return to the hospital a few days later where I was admitted by another doctor.
Adam Friedlander's professionalism and warm personality made my visit to Northside Forsyth a pleasure and reassuring. After lab work and a CT scan I left the hospital knowing that I had not incurred internal injuries from an auto collision. Kudos also to Danielle Allman NFP, Judith RN, Santiago, the CT staff and lab. You will be fortunate if Dr Friedlander handles your evaluation and treatment at NS Forsyth ER.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
