12/2021: My son has been receiving weekly OT, PT, & SLP services from Building Bridges Therapy since 2010. We are extremely loyal to this therapy center because they have earned our loyalty. They have worked to earn our trust & respect, every single week for the past 11 years. My son has made incredible progress with their guidance, persistence, creativity, support, & love. We absolutely adore the staff we have met or work(ed) with. I am flabbergasted that the Google review average isn't 5 stars. It's likely because several families like mine--whose children have worked with BBT for over a decade--have been around since way before Google reviews were so emphasized.I don't understand why another reviewer complained about turnover. My son had the same therapists for 7 & 8 years. Of course there are occasional therapists who move cities or decide to stay home with their young children; that's life. There are also therapists-in-training who do their short-term clinicals at BBT as part of their education. However, they are accompanied & trained by tenured staff members, & the rotating nature of their clinical program (and presence) is by design. There are also times that a child may try working with a few different therapists in order to find the best fit. As a long-term witness, I can attest how many of the staff have worked here for several years & are still pouring into the kiddos they work with every day.The same reviewer claimed the facility is small. It is in fact rather large as pediatric rehabilitation centers go. Pre-Covid, I went to the majority of my son's therapy sessions over the course of many years. I have been in every therapy room & gym at BBT. There are a lot of rooms. There are various lighting options for different rooms. This is hugely beneficial for children like mine who are visually impaired & light-sensitive. Some children with autism or atypical sensory integration are also extremely light-sensitive. If a parent observer thinks a room is somewhat dimly lit, maybe he/she/they should remember that the lighting is not *for* him/her/them. The BBT facility was built for the therapeutic needs of children, some of whom are unable to communicate their needs or sensitivities.Building Bridges Therapy is a labor of love for the staff & the owners. I have seen this with my own eyes on hundreds of occasions. Working with children with a myriad of special needs is no small feat. The therapists at Building Bridges are here because they are educated, innovative, motivated, & truly love the children they work with. What more could a parent possibly want for their children?
My son has had and evaluation and 3 sessions of speech therapy here. So far it’s been great! We have seen Mary Oliver and she’s amazing. My son who’s normally very shy and reserved really felt comfortable with her and has actually been improving in his speech. I’ve seen reviews of rude staff members but I have not had that experience, everyone is friendly and helpful!
My 4 year old has just been here for one week & already I’ve seen improvements in her speech. She’s normally shy but she’s been completely herself & loves going to see Ms. Leslie. It feels like playing games to her, not anything she’s nervous or apprehensive about. Leslie is such a great cheerleader for her & gives her the confidence to try & practice again & again. Getting a little speech help for her is one of the best parenting decisions we’ve made.
Had a great experience with Ms. Angie as my son's speech therapist. She was kind and warm, and made my son feel comfortable. The place is well organized, and they truly care about the well being of children. I will wholeheartedly recommend building bridges to other families!
Very poor and rude admin/management. They also have high turnover of the therapists. Therefore, your children would never have consistent therapy. They also would delay to renew or stop for additional sessions from the insurance company simply because they do not have enough therapist to cover the sessions. The facility is very small; it housed in a warehouse building. Very boxy and dark rooms and not recommended for children who already are facing emotional challenges.NO, I would not recommend Building Bridges, please take your special one to somewhere else. This place is a waste of your valuable time and money.
admin staff is very rude. They don't know how to respect patient families. Even therapists are not great...don't go there. Waste of money !
We cannot say enough great things about Building Bridges Therapy! We first landed here for OT services for my little newborn and felt so confident in her abilities that when it was time for him to receive services for feeding therapy we knew right where to look. This new mama was incredibly nervous about feeding therapy for a five month old but again we were overjoyed with the care we received. Our beloved SLP, Ms. Jorri ended up becoming the Assistant Clinical Director but she was quick to refer us to another therapist (who we love just as much) for my sons’ ongoing speech services. Ms. Kati picked up right where Ms. Jorri left off and we are excited with the growth our son continues to demonstrate with his speech skills. She even got my two year old excited for his virtual speech sessions during the pandemic when virtual was our only option. Lastly, we had the opportunity to work with Ms. Sarah for PT and my son improved so quickly we only got to work with her for a few months but, again, we were pleased with the care we received for our little guy.In addition to loving our therapists we have felt supported by the administrative staff every step of the way. They’ve helped us with scheduling, COVID-19 precautions, referrals, follow up appointments, insurance - you name it and BBT made it happen.I would recommend Building Bridges Therapy to any and every friend looking for OT, PT and/or SLP care for their child.
Our son has received therapy at Building Bridges for almost 6 years. Our therapists feel like part of our family. The staff and administrators are great. The facility is clean, organized the schedule runs smoothly.
We love, love Building Bridges Therapy. We have been with them for many years. Every therapist is so patient, kind and inventive. Everyone from the front office, owner and therapists are willing to help with any need. My daughter wouldn't have progressed to the point she is at without Building Bridges help!
So many great things to say about BBT. Our family has three kids that see them for various therapies. Every person there, whether we see them as therapists or just in passing is family. They take the time to figure out what the children need, no matter how long it takes and modify the sessions to benefit the children. It’s hard not to love a place that puts the development of children first.
We love Building Bridges. The facility is very clean. The therapists and support staff are so kind and patient. The therapists are top notch! Can't get any better.
Nothing but great things to say about this place. Our son has received therapy there for almost 6 years.

My daughter has been receiving therapy at Building Bridges for almost four years mostly in speech and occupational therapy, but she has also had some physical therapy. Her therapists have been amazing and my daughter loves going to therapy! They have worked with my daughter's school therapists to ensure the private therapies compliment what she is receiving at school. The therapists have always consulted with me and my husband on the goals we have for our daughter and utilize her strengths to help build up those skills where she is weak. The therapists also collaborate with each other to ensure my daughter is always working on all areas she needs to regardless of whether she is receiving speech or occupational therapy. For example, in occupational therapy, she will often work with another client on her speech communication goals while also working on her occupational therapy goals. My daughter's communication and self-help skills have dramatically improved since she began her therapy at Building Bridges and we love our therapists!!
Great place. My son has been going there for feeding therapy and Ms Jorri has been astounding with him. She also does infants, which is a rarity. My daughter will start soon for physical therapy because she pronates.Super professional. Great therapists. Customer since 2016!
Music therapists there are great.
We’ve only been going for a little over a month but the staff and office ladies and just everyone is so amazing! My son is improving every session and he loves the women who are working with him! I highly recommend
We have 2 daughters who have been receiving multiple therapies at Building Bridges for the past 18 months. I can confidently say that everyone who works here has a passion for special children. We have been so blessed to find this wonderful facility that is helping our girls reach their potential each day. I cannot say enough positive things about the management and staff who work tirelessly and go above and beyond to give the very best opportunities to our children.
The service is purely based on the therapist. This center has the facility to monitor the class without the kid knowing it
