Charles Ficco's Online Review Report Card

First time patient at Milan eye center Cumming location. History of stroke and recent increase in seizures with vision changes. When scheduling appointment had expressed need to be seen by Ophthalmologist, as that is who had been seeing me in past, and list of exam needs. While there again reiterated these needs to technician who did initial work up, as to dry eyes, diplopia, permanent new black floater, need for bifocals, etc. Was told all would be recorded on chart for Dr to address. When Dr came in he addressed none of the concerns I had discussed in screening process. Then when I went to check our I was informed it would be additional $45 to get a current Rx to take to get new lenses, on top of the Copay for my eye exam. I have never paid extra for a prescription to get my lenses done, (which they do not do there to begin with). I got no referral for eye gtts for my eyes, no discussion as to the black dot or diplopia. Felt my concerns were unheard and dismissed.

Dr. Ficco has been my doctor for over a year now. He has worked with me with multiple vision changes and monitoring to ensure when it was time for cataract surgery, etc., that I was taken care of. I am a nurse and very concerned with quality of care, compassion and positive outcomes. Everyone that I have been associated with at Milan Eye Center has been extremely positive in their interaction during care, considerate about my comfort, well coordinated in order to move from treatment to surgery and then back to monitoring and follow-up. It is a very patient-centered practice and I highly recommend this team of professionals/all staff to anyone looking for high quality care for their vision!! Thank you for the excellent care I have received!

This is my first time at Milan eye center, and I already love it! Dr. Ficco is amazing. He's so helpful and calm. Would definitely go there again from now on!!

This is my first day with Milan Eye Center, and I have already received more information than my former eye clinic ever equipped me with. All the staff is wonderful, courteous and professional!

Throughout all my interactions, I felt very reassured and safe. Dr. Patel and Dr. Ficco are extremely nice people, and their care is portrayed throughout the service they provide. Overall, I had a very professional experience from the beginning to end with Milan Eye Center.

Overall my experience with Milan Eye Center was excellent. It was simple and everyone held my hand throughout the process. Everybody was so pleasant, and one technician, Ashton Thomas even helped me with sending a text to my son, when I couldn't yet see very well. Our surgical coordinator, Elizabeth Fratu explained everything so well, I couldn't have asked for more. Also, Dr. Ficco ALWAYS carries a smile on his face! Just overall a lovely experience.

I had a very thorough examination with Dr. Ficco. He took his time with me and seeing the latest Ophthalmic equipment made me feel like I was in good hands.

Going into my procedure with Milan Eye Center, I was worried about having my eyes operated on. However, Dr. Patel and Dr. Ficco put me at ease and took their time explaining every detail of my procedure, completely putting me at ease. We were extremely impressed overall and are happy to have found these Physicians at Milan Eye Center. Lastly, our Surgical Coordinator Elizabeth Fratu was excellent, along with our Technicians and Carlyn at the Front Desk at the Cumming location
