Dr. Lara R. Hart's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Hart was the most unprofessional Doctor I have ever had the misfortune of being in her orbit at Athens Piedmont Regional Hospital in Athens, GA. It was the misfortune of my daughter (who had just given birth) that had to endure her INCOMPETENT care. Not only did she ignore my daughter telling her and the midwives working under her, numerous times, how many and how huge her blood clots were, she was told it was normal. Two trips back to the hospital in a five day period resulting in a D&C. After all of that unnecessary trauma and sickness, time away from her newborn, Dr. Hart had the audacity to come into my daughters hospital room and put her finger in her face and talk to her like she was a piece of trash when confronted about her (Dr. Hart) mistakes on the amount of blood actually lost and poor record keeping by the nursing staff. She is a very COMBATIVE and unprofessional Doctor and is a poor reflection on WHC of Athens. AVOID HER AT ALL COST!!!!!!!

Do not recommend One of the most inappropriate doctors I’ve ever met. Asked me if I had voted or had a gun in my house(?) during an annual. I needed a uterine ablation, blew me off for months about scheduling it. After I had the procedure, I ended up in the hospital with a post op infection. Had the audacity to ask me “what happened?” while visiting me in the hospital. Unbelievable! Then would not prescribe any pain medicine for something that she caused (I was in excruciating pain) Luckily the onsite doctor took pity on me and prescribed some. Do not go to her!! Use someone else in the practice.

I will forever be grateful for Dr. Hart. She saved my life and my baby girl’s life. The best you can ever hope for.

Best OBGYN Dr Hart is the ONLY OB that truly listed to me and what my issues were! I moved from south fla and had seen a few OB’s. Dr Hart is knowledgeable, a great listener, does not jump to medicate but offers solutions. I will only see Dr Hart and after having 2 high risk pregnancies in south fla, finding Dr hart was a blessing. She did my hysterectomy and I could not have been happier!!! I highly recommend her!

Dr. Hart did my 2nd c-section. She means business in the operating room, and that is exactly what you want when you have to go into surgery. I’d recommend her to anyone knowing that they are going to need a c-section!

Excellent bed side manner. Very prompt, easy to get an appointment with, great front office staff. She is very kind, positive and encouraging. Willing to listen to all concerns and will ensure that you get all the details you need. My over all experience with Rowell obgy over the last 15 years is superb.

I took my 11 year old for some general check up and she was the worst doctor ever asking my child you are not pregnant right . The most awful and the weirdest doctor ever .

She may possibly be the worst dr I have ever encountered. She is cold and pompous. Do NOT trust your health to this woman. You are simply a number in her eyes.

Dr. Hart was very unprofessional in dealing with a sensitive situation with my daughter. What could have been solved with a 2-minute conversation became something that destroyed my family. I guess she was too busy to be professional, and now I'm left dealing with the consequences. I'm hoping therapy can help fix the mess Dr. Hart created.

Dr. Hart is a lively individual who makes you feel like an old friend when she walks into the room. She does everything to help make you feel comfortable, and is quick with procedures that are often uncomfortable in nature. Highly recommend her!
