James Copher's Online Review Report Card

Not only was this the worst experience I have had in a Dr’s office it was humiliating. The Dr literally laughed out loud the majority of the time as I described my pain injury. I can accept the surgeon saying they need to refer me to another Dr or even that they cannot do anything but to laugh…and belittle someone who has been dealing with unresolved pain for 12 years…unacceptable.

Went in for a referral for a hernia. Dr. Copher spent the entire consultation time telling me that he didnt believe I was having the bloating the week prior as I described. Which was observed the week before by my primary which triggered the referral. Unbelievable experience first Dr. Ive ever had a poor experience with and would never see him again. Not sure how you tell a patient that you dont believe them about a simple description of bloating and argue the fact. I stated that I dont know what it was from but it was certainly real and had subsided but he continued to state I dont believe that. What else is a patient to do?

Dr Cophers’ office nurse deserves 5 stars. Caring and kind in respect to my my post hernia surgical pain. Can’t say as much for the doctor. Why is it that the doctors treat you like objects and the nurses treat you like human beings? Did medical school miss the course in understanding pain and our reaction.?If and when I go back I will only see the nurse. Wish I could remember her name.

I think Dr. Copher did a great job with my recent thyroidectomy and I would recommend this surgeon to everyone.

Dr. Tucker was wonderful. He removed my gallbladder the surgery was smooth he spends quality time at each visit. I highly recommend Dr. Tucker.

This doctor performed two umbilical hernia surgerys on me in 2012. A few weeks ago the hernia reappeared and I made an appointment to have it checked. The first he did was a rough calculation in his head of my BMI he said 45% which was shocking until I did further research and discovered he was badly mistaken. He then had the audacity to tell me that because of my BMI and that it was a recurrent hernia that university surgeons would not even talk to me. I would never visit or refer anyone.

I was concerned my incision was infected so they had me come in at 3. The receptionist was rude to me and put five people in front of me even though they got there behind me. At first I though they were just running behind until I heard the receptionist say that I was next but to put someone else first. She did this at least four times and I was not seen until almost 4. I had actually recommended Dr. Copher to a couple of people and had to rescind my recommendation after that visit. Awful.
