I quickly developed a severe hand infection after an animal bite and Dr. Mowbray came to the E.R. to treat my wounds and try to avoid surgery. Unfortunately I had waited too late to seek treatment on my own and surgery proved to be necessary. I was in hospital for four days and was truly frightened. Throughout my ordeal Dr. Mowbray was an incredibly calming presence. His skill thorough knowledge and calming bedside manner helped to put me at ease. He carefully kept me informed of the selfcare needed for me to get my hand healthy again postop. I will be forever grateful that he was the surgeon that treated me on that frightening night and throughout the subsequent surgery and recovery period. I am a master carpenter as well as a professional musician and Dr. Mowbray very likely saved my hand.

Dr. Mobray is kind and patient. He answered all of my questions and concerns on Carpel Tunnel surgery. I had my surgery a month ago. It was very successful especially because I was a moderate risk of not having excellent results. My hands are very important to me. I’m a writer. I use them a lot to type. I can once again write without pain. From the kind lady who checked me in for surgery to the nurses that cared for me before and afterwards it was absolutely excellent. The general anesthesia was perfect. I had no pain afterwards. It was easier than any outpatient surgery I’ve ever had. Dr. Mobray is very skilled at what he does. I’ll be going back in another six months to have my other wrist done.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mowbray’s for almost 10 years. He had performed two surgeries on my hands in the past and I am having 3 next week. Besides being the excellent physiciansurgeon that he is he also cares about his patients and is thorough in his explanations and takes time to answer all my questions and concerns. His staff is also pleasant and the office is always meticulously clean and comfortable I highly recommend Dr Mowbray if you have handwristarm issues

Dr. Mowbray was patient and understanding during the discovery visit even when I had an enormous amount of Internet information to share. He performed a remarkable surgery on my left hand leaving no evidence of the incision. His office staff and surgery staff were friendly organized and efficient. I could not have asked for a better experience.
