List of Lanier Family Practice's Reviews
Really disappointed with this medical practitioner's authoritarian attitude and lack of basic customer/patient concerns. Loved the staff and nurses who have been very pleasant, but if the PCP is this rude and complacent, it's really a deal breaker for me.
Absolutely worst and rudest doctor I have encountered in my life. No wonder one her the top nurses left this horrible practice and moved away to another practice. Dr. Patro has no leadership qualities, and is honestly unhinged in her communication towards patients. She is so rude in her internal communication to her own staff members. I was shocked how she writes to her own staff members when, instead of replying to them, she sent her message to me by mistake thru the messaging system addressing me in third person, in a equally rude way. When I tried to clarify that my request was in response to her own staff's information, she forced the practice manager to exclude me from being her patient. Fine, that's her choice. But good riddance!!!Bottomline: stay away from this practice if you are serious about your health and sanity. As long as you are able to follow routine check-ups without asking too many questions about your own health, you are fine. If you attempt to request advices pertaining to your specific health situation, you've asked too much and you shall be kicked out.
Great office staff but very rude Doctor. Some of the good nurses have left this practice unfortunately.
The absolute worst doctor I have ever experienced. I saw Dr. Patro in 2017. I was experiencing weight loss, no appetite, fatigue, depression, back pain, my right buttcheek had gotten considerably smaller than my left (weird I know), etc. I had lost 15lbs in 2 months and could not handle losing anymore. I explained to her that a few years back my thyroid levels had tested high and was wondering if she would test them again. She instead tells me to eat 6 small meals a day. I tell her I have tried that, but I have absolutely zero appetite and feel like there could possibly be an underlying issue, which is why I asked for my levels to be tested again. This woman tells me there is nothing else she can suggest and that women would kill to be my size. Um what?? She then proceeds to tell me to go home and keep a diary for a YEAR about my symptoms and then come back. I had already been suffering and now she's telling me to wait another year and brushing my weight loss off as a joke? I walked out. 3 weeks later a lump shows up in the front of my neck on the right side. Yep, on my thyroid. I immediately made an appt with an ENT who tells me I have a mass growing through the right side of my thyroid and I need to have it surgically removed and tested for cancer. Had the mass removed along with the right side of my thyroid. It tested non cancerous. Thank God. After surgery I still was experiencing weight loss and my ENT referred me to an endocrinologist and then a rheumatologist where I was diagnosed with an auto immune disorder. The inflammation that an auto immune disorder can cause was happening around my spine and making it in to a letter S. Hence the back pain and small buttcheek. Had I of listened to Dr. Patro I honestly have no clue what shape my health would be in today. I know Autoimmune disorders are hard to diagnose, but this woman didn't take caring for me any further than telling me to eat 6 small meals a day and that women would kill to be my size. Stay away from this practice or at least get a second opinion with whatever this woman tells you about your health. Absolutely horrifying.
Excellent care. They listen to what I have to say and Coordinate with my specialist
Ok

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
