2 because it was good for an annual visit if you have no issues already. I was recommended to Dr. Hayek by Dr. Kaufman. I saw Kaufman multiple times and Hayek a couple times for eye pain. It went on for months. I was recommended drops and sent away. I left North GA eye clinic and went to Roswell Eye clinic and they found the issue in one visit. I apparently have binocular vision to some degree and no one was dedicated at North GA Eye Clinic to find the problem or even perform a test. I had to go elsewhere. I had intense pain for months and extreme sensitivity to light with dizziness and this practice was unmotivated to help me. My last visit I was the last patient of the day and waited 3hrs. By the time I got to the front of the office after my appointment everyone was gone but the girl up front. I had a question about my referral to Dr. Hayek by Dr. Kaufman and he had already left. I could very much tell they were not in the game to help me solve my pain but just to go home. Start somewhere else.

Dr. Kaufman is highly professional and obviously concerned about the quality of care he and his staff provide to patients. He shows patience, knowledge and a sense of humor--all of which are appreciated. Three of his team members are extraordinary professionals in both what they do and in their care for their patients. Surgical coordinator Sheila Smith went above and beyond the cataracts options that were available to us--and it meant a great deal to my wife and me. She was thorough, friendly and highly professional. I also want to recognize Maddy, another person on Dr. Kaufman's team. She was both positive to talk to and encouraged our questions to Dr. Kaufman. Also, Diane, the surgical receptionist in Cumming, represented the true spirit of great medical care. These three individuals exemplify excellence--both in what they do and how they do it. Like all business executives, doctors and surgeons are often defined by their team members and Dr. Kaufman's team is exceptional.

Dr.kaufman is amazing and the best. He even called the same night after my husband had cataract surgery just to check on him. We recommend him to anyone

Completely compassionate and caring. Handles a large work load at his office and understands my needs. Excellent surgery manners that put you at ease. Great staff. Friendly and efficient.

Wait times fluctuate some but then he usually has to diagnose, explain and answer questions. When he takes the time to make sure all of your questions are answered will eat into other patients wait time. Late comers also have to be fitted in so they can also be served.

Takes two hours for a vision eye test and an ultra sound that didn’t happen. Ridiculous….

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Dr. Kaufman, cares about his patients and always answers all of my concerns. He is thorough in his exams and is knowledgeable in his field.

Dr. Kaufman is awesome, he has performed double cataract surgery on me and I am truly pleased with his professionalism and bedside manner.

Dr Kaufman & his staff are professional, kind, patient very knowledgeable, calm & just funny. Dr Kaufman is a skilled surgeon, vey detailed oriented, personable & humorous. I cannot express the gratitude for him giving me vision. I would recommend him to all family & friends. Get your cataracts taken care of now. You will be so thankful.

My concern. First visit sent me straight over to schedule cataract surgery within his office. Put off six months due to selling home and moving. Second visit said was ready to schedule cataract surgery. He has intern present and says "you can't just come in and order cataract surgery because you want it". Year prior my since retired eye surgeon said I had minimal cataract. I'm trying different doctor because felt too much like going through a assembly line. Too quick, measured, no explanation.
