I can highly recommend Dr. Reimer. The care I received from Dr. Reimer and his staff and the staff at Northside Forsyth Hospital was amazing.
I went in to speak with Dr Fred with some years ago about my left hip he performed the surgery it was excellent no pain he explained everything to me that I what I was going to go through I was extremely scared to do it but with his knowledge that he told me and explain things to me I felt like I was in the best hands thank you Dr Raymond now I need my right hip done where are you Ms.Fortson
I felt Dr. Reimer did not listen or answer my questions. Just do what he says. I feel that any questions about a test or lab report that was Not normal needs to be answered. It is important to Me. During follow up visits, I felt like he was reading from a Script he had memorized. My questions or concerns were not important to him. I was very disappointed in Dr. Reimer's dismissive manner and lack of concern or care for me after my surgery.
I am so glad I found this low-key, blatantly honest, orthopedic oncologist when experiencing growth of the low-grade chondrosarcoma in my right humerus. He is one of the best and most knowledgable doctors with whom I have had experience. His offices and the entire third floor are state of the art. He is personable, and I never have felt rushed or pressured in making a decision as to what approach we intend to take. I highly recommend this doctor. He is fantastic!!!!!
I love dr. Reimer, I live in Northwest GA I was referred to him back in 2014 I believe that was the year from a local friend he did my first hip, and I was so Thankful, I returned to him in 2017 for my other hip he's worth the trip... Thank you again
I love Dr Reimer!....very good ortho surgeon! My knee replacement was definitely needed on my right knee and if I get the left one done....I only want Dr Reimer to do it. Don't get me wrong.....replacements are NO JOKE! However, when it's performed by the right doctor and ongoing physical therapy, just trust the process. Susan is also great! My experiences have always been great with Dr Reimer and his team! Oh and one more thing....I have got several compliments on my scars...weird but Dr Reimer is neat lol.
I had laid in a bed for a year I had broken my femur and Humana did surgery. But it January my insurance changed to Keiser it wouldn’t heal my life was bed or a lift for 1 year and 3 mos. finally in Dec my doctor with keiser referred me to Dr Reymer. He was God sent he wasn’t in my plan. I knew I needed both hips replaced so he said we will replace left hip in Jan and March he replaced my r hip and femur and last year my left knee I was told I’d never walk agAin. But I walk with my walker. I thank God for Dr Reymer He’s a wonderful doctor.
Horrible patient care. Does not communicate with patients. Cannot be reached even when you are diagnosed with a very aggressive terminal cancer anyone is better than this!!
I had a knee replacement by Dr. Reimer. I have seen scores of doctors in my lifetime of 80 years. This is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. Not only is he the kindest and knowledgeable orthopedic I have seen but he has the best doctor patient manners I have seen. I am a palled by one of the reviews that gave him sadly a one star. That is shameful and it shouldn't even have been printed. I'm an older woman and he was understanding of me and listen to me even when I talk too much. You should consider reviews less than three stars, especially for Doctors like Dr. Reimer.
This guy seems to be a fantastic osteo oncologist, but I’m not sure why he does hip replacement surgeries. If you are in need of a hip replacement, Dr.Reimer is not the best choice in surgeons! He may be an awesome oncologist, but he totally destroyed my hip. My surgery was supposed to take no longer than 45 minutes, but it ended up taking four, or more, hours. I ended up having four more surgeries after the initial hip replacement. I still cannot walk properly. I went back to him explaining to him, the ongoing complications, Only to be ridiculed and embarrassed by him saying asking me if it was my goal to have more surgery. No it is my goal to actually have my hip repaired. After I contracted two different types of staff in his operating room, he performed three more surgeries to remove PIECES of the new hip, cleaning them, only to reinsert them back into my body. THREE times! ...So, four surgeries all together! ...All after seeking a routine hip replacement surgery! After enduring the above nightmare, I still ended up on intravenous antibiotics for six months. So my surgery date was on August 19th 2018. I my last appointment associated with the initial procedure, and Dr.Reimer, was on January 13th 2019. I contacted his office in August of 2019, with multiple symptoms and complaints that I am in immense pain and still unable to walk. He was very dismissive and uninterested. He gave me a shot, then told me he could do nothing for me. So, again, I offer my story in an effort to prohibit this scenario from becoming your story, and/or the story of a loved one or friend. Good luck on your journey to optimum health!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
