Came here on a Saturday morning around 9:00am after dropping and shattering a big glass container of baking flour on my foot. Next walk-in appointment wasn't until 10:45am so we scheduled for that time. We came back a few minutes before 10:45am but weren't seen until 12:00pm. They were running behind, short-staffed, and that was completely understandable for the wait. The staff that was there was very nice and caring, the nurse or medical assistant was warm and welcoming. The doctor/PA/nurse practitioner (can't remember what level of credential he was), had a slight sense of humor and that helped me feel more at ease. Immediately he recognized that we needed to go to the ER (severe foot injury, unable to move my big toe). He didn't waste any time, had the medical assistant come back in to give me a tetanus shot, wrap my foot up quickly and sent me on my way. Told the ER we were coming. Besides the wait, it was a pleasant experience (as pleasant as an urgent visit can be!)

All was good except for my wait time. I was the first patient in the clinic. Other than that all was good.

Every person that I spoke to was professional and efficient. I had gone to another clinic the night before, that said I needed an X-ray and the did nothing else for me. At Piedmont, Iwas happy to feel that I was being treated by knowledgeable and caring people every step of the way.
