List of Rick K. St. Pierre's Reviews
Dr. Pierre put an artificial ligament in my shoulder when in my twenties in the 80’s and I’ve had no problems with it to date. I remember visiting his office post-surgery 3 times for checkups and how professional & friendly his office staff treated me. I highly recommend Dr. St. Pierre and you could do no better than with him as your orthopedic surgeon! His sports medicine experience is superior! I’d give him 10 stars if I could! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Awww, I’ve just read of his passing in 2021. Thank you and R.I.P. Dr. St. Pierre.
This doctor saved my leg. He step in when severa lother doctors fail to catch the tear in my knee. 5 stars from me
Dr. St Pierre is one of the Atlanta's Best. He replaced my ACL in my right knee in 1994. I have been extremely active on that knee everyday. Needed a clean up on that knee in 2008. The cartilage had a tear after years of snow skiing. I develop and design imaging centers across the United States and have many friends in the Orthopedic field; however, I only use Dr. St. Pierre. Go here then get a second opinion and come back for your professional help. You only have one body get the best.
Dr. St. Pierre performed two surguries on my left knee. The only reason for the second surgury was me pushing the limits. I had five surguries prior to seeing Dr St. Pierre. Three of those surguries had been performed at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus,GA. Dr. St. Pierre litterally saved my knee from being replaced. I was 36 years of age going for my seventh surgury. This was my last opportunity for a sucessful outcome. Dr. St. Pierre used his laser technology to reshape my knee so it would function enough to litterally get around. This all took place 12 years ago and I happy to say that I have been able to function at 90%. I have just come across this review site and had to share my story with you. If knee replacement ever enters in the future Dr. St. Pierre will definetly be my Dr.
I had Dr. St. Pierre and the Atlanta Center for Athletes treat me a few years a go for a torn ACL. They forgot to let me know that while they were "in network" all of the facilities they used were not in network. I ended up having a huge co-pay. The procedure was very "production line" driven and I received very little consultation or guidance during the process. I have used Resurgeons for other procedures and I am VERY HAPPY with Resurgeons. I would NOT RECOMMEND Dr. Rick St. Pierre to anyone.
His hours are irregular, he arrives at his office after his first scheduled appointment and double or triple books time slots. He did my surgery and was not successful so I am now going to see a different surgeon.
He seemed great at first. Surgery seemed to go fine but he didn't actually fix the problem. I'm going to see a different surgeon now to have surgery on the same shoulder that Pierre couldn't repair. Wait time is 45 min or more. Office staff is friendly at times but rude and not helpful at others. This is a rumor from a valid source but in his early years he was thought by his colleagues to be doing surgery on patients that was unnecessary, for what reason I'm not sure. Take that how you will.
BEWARE! If you need your records they say it takes a week to call you back and up to 4 weeks to get them. I had a skiing accident last year and St. Pierre was my doctor. Went skiing 1 year later and knee had violent reaction with out a fall. Made an appointment with another doctor as soon as plan landed. The new doctor would like to see my MRI, exray etc. St. Pierre's office said it can take up to 4 weeks for me to get MY films back that I brought them and 1 week for them to call back to let me know when I can pick up my films/reports!!! BEWARE!
GREAT TO WORK WITH, FIXED BOTH OF MY KNEE.DR.RICK ST PIERRE,DID A GREAT JOB.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
