Brittany was awesome! Very warm and welcoming. The front desk was very helpful and friendly as well. Will definitely be coming back to this location for future visits.

I had a bit of a crown emergency and they were able to see me and get me fixed up quickly for an afternoon flight. I’m so thankful for them!

Dr Britney did a great job in deep cleaning..I was nervous but she is an amazing doctor.

I agree with Michael Wells, I had a similar experience with billing. My wife and I told the front office whatever was covered by insurance. I move to the area looking for a dentist that was honest, transparent, and cared. I used to go to Hamilton Mill Dental in Gwinnett Co. they were great and told us everything up front and procedures were covered. The dentist at Sage that placed two crowns did a good job, however my quote and billing was complex. I was given a quote which I agreed assuming it was accurate to customary charges. I took the $27 mouthwash called ioRinse~RTU (yes I know it was a smaller bottle and dentist up charge) but larger bottles online are around $45. Several things were removed from the original quote since they did not do the procedure. The automated system kept sending text stating I owe more money which I then stopped by the office since they did not return at least four phone calls. Btw the lady at front office said she responded to emails. Not true, we’ve left three emails (September then October and November) forwarding each one showing them the insurance EOB. Our insurance company even said Sage can look up what our policy covers (they can read right on their screen). Also Not easy to walk into office since they are not there most of the time even though office hours states they should be open. There’s a discrepancy of approximately $180 and the office received the EOB in September and it is December. This is completely unprofessional. I hope you do not treat others this way. Totally unacceptable.

I went in the other day trying to get a simple cleaning only to have someone come in after waiting for about an hour with the X-rays etc tell me that I need some kind of a specialized cleaning that wasn’t covered by insurance. Then they refused to do a cleaning because the hygienist said that I needed some other procedures that weren’t covered. Granted, I will give them 2 stars because the dentist and Ms. Maria that I saw were incredibly nice.

I arrived Monday October 23 for an appointment for a cleaning. I had received many text message reminders for the appointment. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment and they were closed. 45 minutes later I contacted the Cumming office and was informed the my dentist had quit 3 Months ago and no one had contacted me. And the office closes on Monday sometimes when they don't want to work. I will not be back.

My first experience at Sage Dental on Matt Hwy was great! Brittany (Dental Hygienist) did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. She was so knowledgeable and had a great chair side manner. I would definitely go back again. Thank you Brittany for a great visit because going to the Dentist Office is rarely a great experience. :)

If you’re coming to this location just remember all locations are different and it also depends on who is working with you. However, do keep in mind this is SAGE dental. Not the best company in my opinion— especially when it’s a chain. I came here because of a crown that broke. My appointment was at 2:30PM but I sat at the front desk waiting for 20 minutes because the person decided to take a break. Not such big deal or a problem to me because my schedule was clear for the day. However, the appointment was long. Which I’ve heard is quite an on going issue with SAGE. Now the reason why I personally would tell anyone not to consider SAGE is because they treat you like a bill and not a person. Even the doctor who was working on my teeth— her demeanor was a bit off to me. It just seemed as though the lady at the front desk and the doctor work together to just add things on and bill you to get more money out of you. Before sitting in that chair or signing anything—DO YOUR RESEARCH. They’ll tell you that you need XYZ and sometimes you really don’t. Also, make sure they’re working on what they’re suppose to be doing. Not just in your mouth digging in your teeth looking for any issue or creating issues just because you may have a cavity. You’ll find yourself back in their seat. To continue— I don’t really like the way my temporary crown was place on. So I have to take extra good care of the tooth so food/bacteria doesn’t sit under it. Because of this I am very nervous about how they’ll do my permanent crown. I don’t want a half a** job done because people like me work extremely hard for our money and dental care is not cheap. I would recommend trying somewhere else. Don’t go somewhere where they view you as a bill. You’re human and deserve to be cared for properly. Not everything should be about money. On a positive note… The Guyanese woman(sorry don’t know her name) SHE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! GIVE HER A RAISE. Positive energy. Treats you like someone. Makes you feel safe. She will be the highlight of your day. I should be back in 2 weeks for my permanent crown so I’ll be updating this .

I was looking for a dentist that was honest, transparent, and cared. I had a great in-office experience but was thrown off by the charges I received upon receiving the bill. I have dental insurance and asked for a yearly cleaning. When I arrived, I was told (not asked) that I was not getting a regular cleaning but something in between a regular cleaning and a deep clean. I agreed as if that was the new normal. After that I was handed a mouth wash which I thought was normal for the dentist. Then I later received a bill for over $400 for a procedure I was not aware of and the $27 for mouth wash that I was handed as if it was a part of some goodie bag. This is completely deceptive and bad practice. I hope you do not treat all your clients this way. Totally unacceptable.
