List of Andrew O. Jamieson's Reviews
I had scheduled an appointment based on a referral from my doctor. After setting up the appointment I went to the location listed on business card only to find that they had closed that location. When I called and said that I had gone to the location I was told that I would not make it in their 15 minute window and that I would need to reschedule. At no point in time did I ever receive a confirmation with a location from them. I found it very unprofessional and rude. I'm sure Dr Jamieson is a fantastic doctor but I can't recommend his staff based on this experience. Looking through their google reviews I seem to not be only one who has encountered this unprofessionalism.

Dr. Jamieson seems like a great doctor. He made my appointments easy and he is very personable. We met during covid, so we actually only talked over zoom and the phone. As a doctor, he seems great. The primary issue with Dr. Jamieson lies with his office and their business practices. Because I use a high deductible HSA plan, I wanted to ensure I was well aware of costs I should expect with this treatment. Over the phone I was told the CPAP and the oral appliance option should run about the same price, between $700 and $800. I was prepared for that expense, and we decided to move forward. Once I arrived in the office to purchase my CPAP, they informed me the cost was going to be over $1600+ the price of the visit. This was exceeding the list price of the unit, and obviously was more than double the highest prices we previously discussed. After firmly discussing this with the staff and contesting the pricing for an extended period of time, they finally admitted that I could order the unit from cpap.com for significantly less. At that point, I asked why after multiple visits and this discussion I had not been offered my prescription yet. Again, it took some firm discussion and felt like pulling teeth to even get a copy of my prescription. Once my prescription was provided, I quickly ordered from CPAP.com and was able to get the exact same equipment the office offered for under $800. As far as I am concerned, that is ground to say this office is participating in unethical business practices. The medial care was fine, the office staff is polite, but their standard business practices are highly questionable, miss leading, and come at a massive expense to patients. This all took place just over a year ago, but I'm writing this review now because I am looking for an oral appliance treatment for travel. Naturally they referred me to Dr. Heath Roberts who is also part of Sleep Medicine Associates Of Texas. During my initial call with Dr. Roberts office, they said the standard charge for the oral appliance is normally above $1,900. This simply reaffirmed the bait and switch method applied by Dr. Jamieson's office and staff. I wouldn't hesitate to go to Dr. Jamieson for diagnosis and prescriptions, but due to the business practices of his office, I would advise requesting for all documentation, including itemized billing up front. And I would highly advise taking all prescriptions and equipment needs to be filled elsewhere.
I have left 3 messages for a new patient. Have not received a call back. 3 days now. Are they that busy that can't return calls.
The online reviews of Sleep Medicine Associates of Texas on Glen Lakes are correct. This place does not return phone calls. Ever. Left four voice messages for a return call to make a new patient appointment, to no avail. Can’t imagine how existing patients are treated or even how they became existing patients. LOL — here it is a month later, and still no return call.
Love the doctor! Have had terrible experiences with office staff in charge of RX refills and terrible follow up / communications multiple times over. Dealing with issue yet again which prompted me to get online to review.
Excellent bed side manner - will really listen to you and answer your questions. Honest, professional and thorough doctor. I look forward to my appointments with him as he never disappoints.
Excellent experience over several years. His sleep expertise has helped reduce my migraines!
I have central sleep apnea. I underwent a sleep study and diagnosis. I have been helped to better sleep and, as a result, vastly reduced migraines by Dr. Jamieson's care. His expertise and manner are outstanding.
Dr Jamieson has treated me for at least 20 years. He is very easy to get along with, has a rather dry sense of humor (which I always appreciate), provides plenty of time for questions and explanations, always listens, quite knowledgeable and he is thorough. He came to my rescue several years ago when I was in a life crises and could not sleep. His staff is responsive and professional. Has an exceptional in house tech professional who has serviced my CPap machine for many years.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
