Dr Neel was my guardian angel! He’s is not only the best Eye Dr, but the most human Dr I have ever meet.

Excellent doctor and staff. I was pleased with his explanation and plan for my care.

Would not recommend. Has his own time schedule. If you have an appointment, your wait will be 30 minute3s to 1 hour later. Once you get inside, you will wait another 30 to 45 minutes after initial testing. Overbooks appointments. He wants $25 if you miss appt. but you get nothing if he misses appt.

I feel very confident about Dr. Neel’s abilities as a physician. I do believe he is a capable and qualified doctor. My issue is his bedside manner. When dealing with your health and new medical issues (especially pertaining to your VISION)...it’s truly scary. It’s nice to have a doctor who will slow down and explain the diagnosis along with the treatment he is prescribing...Dr. Neel does not do this. I found that he cut me off over and over and made me feel as though I was annoying him or wasting his time by asking questions. This really frustrated me and made me hesitant to return to him for additional treatment. I would suggest that he remember the ‘human’ element of treating patients.

I have been seeing Dr. Neel for almost 6 years. I really appreciate his expertise and knowledge. I have had several procedures over the years and he is an excellent doctor and has taken very good care of my eyes. His staff has always been very friendly to me. He has a big practice so there will be a wait but that happens at most doctor's offices.

I had a situation to arise that would have caused surgery to be canceled. I spoke with Katy @ eye center and explained the situation. She showed her human and professional demeanor.She took a minute to calm my nerves, came up with a plan of action and executed it with exemplary professionalism and outstanding customer service skills. I truly appreciate your service and professionalism that was demonstrated in my time of need.

When we found out we would be moving to Texas, I panicked due to my eye conditions and the need to be closely monitored. Without a hesitation my current surgeon and ophthalmologist said I know of someone that will take excellent care of you and your eyesight. You need not worry. He was absolutely correct!! The front staff, although busy, met me with a smile, was helpful and professional.Dr Neel is professional, knowledgeable, and takes his time in assessing what needs to be accomplished. He is kind, thorough, and explains the hows and whys of what he may decide to do or change. I know I need not worry anymore.I also want to mention his additional staff in the back that is just as pleasant, and will assist you in any way.

I was referred to Dr. Neelakantan from my former glaucoma dr and surgeon since I was moving to Texas. I could not be more happier and I know that my eyes are in excellent care.. He is very through and takes time with all the valuations. Its such a shame to see people get upset when they have an appointment and are not seen right away and have unkind comments. Botton line is if the practice is that busy and Dr Neelakantan still is taking the time to individualize with each patient, in my book, he is an excellent doctor. Also when I checked with my insurance carrier Dr Neelakantan had a 5 star rating!! Enough said!!

No complaints about the Dr. other than he has hired a very incompetent and surly staff. When I approached the young woman (Misty) at the front desk to ask how much longer it would be before we saw the Dr. (arrived 8:22 for 9:00 appt. and it was then 10:28) she actually said "It's not my problem". The waiting rooms were packed and they did bring out a couple of extra chairs but people were still standing. Obviously overbooked appointments with no concern how long these mostly elderly patients waited in uncomfortable conditions

Dr. Nee is WONDERFUL!! I can see and I know by now I would be blind without him. He is totally amazing, sure the surgery was a little scary what surgery isn't? I have had glaucoma since I was in my early 30's and I feel very lucky to have found him!! This is the first time it has ever been under control. His staff is outstanding and without a doubt it is a busy office with a lot of patients in and out. Takes a while to get to know him this is going into year three for me. When you do get to know him you realize he isn't being rude he is taking care of your eyes. His office takes care of so many people they are busy. This isn't a social gathering this is a man trying to save your eyes. You should all be grateful he made room for you as his patient. I appreciate him totally. Can not believe that anyone would give him less than 5 stars! Thank you , Dr. Nee!!!!
