It was a huge mistake coming to this place. This is not a legitimate primary care doctor as they claim to be. Took very little into consideration in giving medical care. Prescribed me a SSRI without taking my current medication into consideration. Inept medical care that can be dangerous! Didn’t even offer to refer to me to a psychiatrist till I asked at the end of the visit. She ended up after I researched referring me to a non existent “internet only mental health services” company. Careless medical care!

I had my first meeting and appointment with Dr Yelena Makori at Village Medical at Walgreens in Dallas, Georgia. I’ll begin by saying the new office is very nice, simply appointed, comfortable with modern equipment. My appointment was at 11:00am on January 4th I was checked in quickly and easily. My wait time was minimal and I saw the Dr without a long wait. Dr. Makori is very personable, respectful, present and patient. My medical history is extensive and the Dr. sat patiently while I gave her every detail. She asked the who, what, why questions; sent refills and honored my request for blood work. As a new patient from another state, I was impressed with my first interaction with a professional within a new health care system. I recommend her and have already done so to my husband.
Dr. Makori is great. I'm new here and had to find a PCP so I literally had to close my eyes and point. I prayed and God answered with this great doctor. She has been kind, caring and professional which is not found a lot these days in medicine. If you're new here and like me need a new PCP or just looking for a change I would suggest Dr. Makori.
A month ago we had blood work done. My husband is a diabetic. 3 days after the results were back, its been a month and even after several calls and messages left to the office we still don't have results. I gave them a super review here and I take it back. A month after the results were ine we still haven't heard anything. He has diabetes nd was suffering from diverticulitis atvthe time of the blood work. No news is never good news when you are already sick.
This is the most uncaring Dr I have had. The only thing she was concerned with was getting me off painkiller- of which I had been taking responsibly with no problem. Never asked me questions, my BP has been high for a while and I just realized after the last visit. I have family history of BP, high blood pressure, and heart attacks. I have called 3 times to get an answer and help and no one called back.
I've been following with Dr. Yelena Makori for 1-2 years. I will not be returning. I had a scheduled appointment that was canceled without my knowledge. I showed for my appointment and waited for an hour after I signed in only to find out that Dr. Makori was out sick when another patient showed up for her appointment. When I went to the desk, the girl was explaining she had not been notified of any cancellation just as I had not. Checkout girl was extremely rude to me saying she had called.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
