Could not ask for a nicer staff or doctors! Would not go anywhere else!!

I called Dalton Dermatology and Day Spa this morning to make an appointment. I advised the lady I was a new patient. Her first question was "What type of insurance do you have". I advised her Blue Cross/Blueshield and Medicare. She then advised me " With Medicare we will not be able to see you until October." Because of her statement I feel I was discriminated against because I have Medicare. I am a military veteran with medicare and a supplemental and could not see a doctor for four months, but could have been seen sooner if I did not have Medicare !

A great doctor and a great office. Worth the drive from Chattanooga! There is a lot to praise: 1) Your appointment time actually means something. I have always been seen within minutes of my scheduled time. 2) Appointment reminders and follow ups are handled with ease. 3) Treatment options are clearly explained. 4) Dr. Cole is exceptionally kind and competent.

Dr. Cole is wonderful and her nurses are friendly and helpful. She is willing to answer your questions. The only part of her practice that I am not completely satisfied with is the staff who work at the front desk, they are not as friendly or helpful as all of the other staff I have dealt with at Dr. Cole's office.

I felt as if Mary Cole was spending time with the PA in the room & I was just listening in. I had been using a provider in Hixson, TN who always had concerns about my chest having so much pre-cancerous spots, and had even treated me for them several times. When I asked Mary Cole about them, she just said "Oh, they're fine." I saw my PCP later &he said I needed to get that checked out ASAP. She did however offer to sell me several very high priced lotions & creams for any issues I mentioned. She didn't a tally tell me about them she told me the girls at the front desk would offer me some options. I felt as if I had interrupted a girlfriends luncheon and she was eager to get back to it.
