Was not up front about charges. Also, don't go if you think you have a colorblindness issue.
The practice says they accept eyemed insurance however Dr Weeks apparently does not and this is not specified as their own recording says the entire practice accepts eyemed. She charged almost $500 for a routine eye exam that would have been fully covered by eyemed. I will not be returning to this doctor again.
I took my 2 girls to see Dr. Week in April 2021. They said they’d bill me for the balance after filing with insurance. I never received a bill or any information saying I owed anything. I got a call yesterday from a collections agency saying they sent my 11 and 13 year olds’ accounts to collections. I called yesterday and no one returned my call. I called today and spoke with the lady in billing. She could care completely less about what the office had done. She said it is not the office policy to make phone calls regarding past due accounts-it’s apparently also not their policy to even send a bill in the first place. What a clown show.
Have two kids with amblyopia. First child was "cured" she said but after stopping glasses it came back worse. Has poor bedside manner with younger children. Wanted to do surgery on a two year old for amblyopia. Mostly unfriendly staff. Problems with overbooking. After they make you wait in the main room they bring you to a holding room where they play movies. Office has no concept of what HIIPA means. Called to get child's prescription and they said they couldn't give it over the phone as it was a HIIPA violation. I drove into the office to get it myself and they still wouldn't give it to me because they said Dr. Weeks had to be there per HIPPA guidelines- neither of which are true. Make sure you document everything as we are now getting credit letters for appointments we had canceled.
I wish I could give 0 stars. Very disappointed with the timeliness and professionalism and care of this specialist and her practice. I had a 3:15 appointment for my son as I am a public school teacher and he is also in school. At 5:00 when we were still waiting to be seen the staff seemed to be annoyed at my presence and others who where waiting as they where prepping to close the office. At this time I discovered that another family who was waiting with me had been given the same appointment time. Another family that was scheduled just 10 minutes BEFORE us and still waiting said this was the second time they had been seen HOURS after the scheduled appointment time. When I was finally seen at 5:40. I was offered no apology. I brought the situation up to Dr. Weeks who replied that this is a normal outcome when their are "late evening appointments". She seemed very cold and unapologetic. She suggested that I make earlier appointments to avoid this happening as other appointment can run over. I suggested she have her scheduling team make few appointments in a day to alleviate the issue. I mentioned to her that my sons eye check was developmentally inappropriate ( he was a fresh 4 being asked to identify letters and a means of determining vision) as a kindergarten teacher I know that early letter recognition for that purpose shouldn't begin until 4-5 months of kindergarten--not the beginning of pre-k. I knew from visiting before that she should have been given a "common objects test". Her response to that was that the tech was new and she expects new staff to make mistakes. To make matters worse she performed a surgery for my son's Ptosis in July and said it should be completely healed in 2 months. I was not---far from and now at 5 moths post op he still has issues closing the eye. When I asked what the likely outcome would be as this surgery clearly didn't have a desired outcome and he eyes are nowhere near symmetrical she said that we can "explore options for another surgery" . So she botched a surgery and now that i should pay her to fix the work and put my son through the difficult healing process again. Finally, I've been told i have a balance by this office 3 separate times during check- in and each time I'm shame walked to the billing department just to explain EVERYTIME that I had met my deductible as well as paid my surgery balance IN FULL before my sons surgery. Trust me, Weeks would not have touched my son without receiving payment first. Held up for 15 minutes or so each time for them to site billing/coding issues as the reason for the flag on my account. JUST TO FIND OUT THAT HER OFFICE ACTUALLY OWED ME OVER 400 DOLLARS! But of course I had to wait a few weeks to be mailed a check. I feel like I failed my son trusting this office.
Very disappointing experience with this doctor. I was told she was top of her field treating neuro-visual disorders and waited 6 weeks to see her. 99% of my examination was done by an “assistant” after which Dr. Weeks spent all of 5 minutes talking to me, barely even making eye contact while she stared into her computer. As a patient I found her demeanor cold and she seemed totally disinterested in anything I had to say. Even after reading the notes from her assistant, I was only given vague details about my condition and she seemed to have no interest in helping me whatsoever. I was sent on my way without a diagnosis within minutes of seeing her. Strangest experience with a doctor I’ve ever had, and a total waste of my time.
My entire examination was done by an “assistant” after which Dr. Weeks never even gave me a diagnosis. She was highly recommend by another doctor, and I had hopes of getting help with what I was told could be a neurological disorder causing me to have double vision peripherally. When I finally met with her, She didn’t ask me any questions, or seem interested in anything I had to say. Even after reading the notes from her assistant, Dr. Weeks barely made eye contact with me. When I asked what could be causing problems with my vision, while staring at her computer with her back to me, she said my problem was “age related” and that just like arthritis, some people experience it and some don’t. I waited over a month to see this doctor and the visit was over in literally 5 minutes. All that time wasted without me, the patient, receiving a diagnosis or prognosis at all.
Always wait over an hour, never had a totally clear understanding of what we are treating and why treatments change every time we come.
I was referred to this office because Dr. Weeks was highly recommended. However, I believe because they are in demand they over-book. Be prepared to spend two hours in the office for an appointment. I’m not sure why they even set appointments or if there is an issue with their time management. Patients show up on time and it makes no difference. I always pray it will get better with each appointment but each time it’s the same. They need to do better with appointments and timing. All in all I think she is a great physician which is why we spend all the time we do in the office.
My daughter had a corneal abrasion for which we went to Dr. Weeks . Although we got an appointment , it seemed forever before she was attended to . However , the doctor gave us adequate time for the examination . We were overall satisfied .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
