For years, I've had the misfortune of working with "medical professionals" with skill, empathy, and overall utility levels ranging from simply, unapologetically mediocre to so abysmal that such staff posed a far greater threat to my health and progress than the presenting issue. Lithonia is virtually littered with subpar practitioners who are more concerned for their fiscal health or social standings than they are for the physical health or the social impact of their practice within the community. Rising above this lack luster pool of health professions is Dr. Watkins. Always pleasant with a genuine smile and greeting, as well as a palpable concern for the client's health, Dr. Watkins possesses the right combination of empathy, practical experience, industry knowledge and health care insight to make every visit an efficient and effective learning and behavior changing partnership in heath. I can say with mathematical certainty that Dr. Watkins is the best Dr. I have ever had.

If you are in need of a timely visit, do not go see this doctor there is no sense of urgency of your time and they do not respect the scheduling order every time I have been to this office I've had to wait in the waiting room for over an hour and a half. I do not recommend this location or this doctor!

The office manager is very rude.I tried calling dr watkins to get my results which has been in for days had no luck the dr calling back and then when i inquired about my results for the third time the office manager which surpose to resolve situations got smart with me telling me i wasn't the only patience when i tried to speak she told me to wait because she wasn't finish. I'm not the patient i'm the patient daughter and the office manager picked with the wrong person my mom!

i work as an rn at dekalb medical and i can tell you this is the best doctor around! he is kind, compassionate, and ALWAYS enters the exam room with a warm smile. he is professional and on point with his diagnosis. office staff is tops! my mother and sister also see this wonderful caring physcian
