Awesome.

I've been working with Dr. Kennedy for several years now. He's very knowledgeable, caring, takes time to review all the options when considering treatment protocols. Outstanding doc, doesn't treat you like a number but a unique person, and is a real expert in breast health. I never expected I'd need a breast surgeon on my care team, but since I do, he is the absolute best choice, and I'm super glad I found him!

He was very professional and also very willing to explain everything I needed to know and answer my questions.

Having parathyroid surgery with Dr. Kennedy was a pleasure! He and all of his staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything went like clockwork even during Covid 19 pandemic.

As I look back upon the many years that I suffered needlessly with debilitating fatigue, depression, joint pain, brain fog, headaches, GERD, forgetfulness, and many other horrific symptoms of hyperparathyroidism, I become more grateful that Dr. Kennedy came into my life...I had reached the point where I was begging for a physician who could help me....then, after researching my bloodwork results, I learned that my blood calcium value of 10.5 as an adult was NOT okay--although plenty of doctors over the years told me it was nothing to worry about! Three of the very best days of my life: the day I found Dr. Kennedy online, the day I met Dr. Kennedy and his wonderful staff at my first appointment, and the day Dr. Kennedy performed my life-saving surgery. Dr. Kennedy literally SAVED MY LIFE and I will be eternally thankful to him and his amazing staff for doing that!

I was referred to Dr. John Kennedy by my Endocrinologist. his words to me were "He is good at this and has done many such surgeries". From my first visit to my post surgery visit , I experienced competent, knowledgeable, friendly service for the Dr. and staff. Dr. Kennedy explained the procedure in terms I understood. I immediately became relaxed and without anxiety. The day of the surgery Dr Kennedy came in and spoke with me. He did the same afterwards. His "bedside manner" is excellent. I suffered from Hyperparathyroidism. After searching for a doctor that used a less invasive procedure, I found Dr Kennedy and DeKalb Surgical Associates. My surgery was scheduled the day a hurricane blew through Atlanta. Dr Kennedy and his staff made sure I still had my surgery even though much of Atlanta was without power. My surgery went off without a problem. Dr. Kennedy, his staff and the DeKalb Hospital made it one of the best experiences I could have had. I highly recommend them.

I traveled to Georgia from the Charlotte NC area. I discovered that I had hyper parathyroid and resulting elevated blood calcium, to which I contributed my attack of A Fib and osteoporosis. Being relatively new to the Charlotte area I did not have a surgeon and was going to have to wait 3 months to get an appointment with one. I researched and found Dr. Kennedy. I had my medical records sent to him and he called me personally to discuss my case. I had my surgery 10 days latter. He and his staff and the hospital were reassuring, efficient and kind. I am so glad I had him do my surgery.

I am so glad I found Dr. John Kennedy at Dekalb Surgical Associates for my parathyroid surgery! He is kind, caring, professional and performs his surgery in the manner that the leading parathyroid center in Florida does. His assistant in his office, Anne, could not have been more helpful in making all the arrangements! He is top notch and I have recommended him to other people!

I never heard of a parathyroid until I was diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism. I was referred to another doctor who did an allergy test and obviously had no idea what he was talking about because I had done a lot of research and nothing he said jived with what I read. I continued to research on the internet and found Dr. John Kennedy who was touted as one of two of the best surgeon for parathyroid removal in the country. I found Dr. Kennedy to be thorough, caring, explained everything in language I could understand, and I don't even have a scar. I would highly recommend him and his staff and would not hesitate to go back.
