Dr Bircoll should be rated a straight up 5.0 out of 5.0 I cannot see how any Orthopedic Surgeon could earn a higher rating than Dr Bircoll. He replaced both hips for my wife about ten years ago and she had no problems or complications and still doesnt. He replaced both knees for me this year and I think the experience has been the best possible. Every one of his patients my wife and I have spoken with feel the same as we do. I can recommend Dr Bircoll 100%. He is a true professional in his field.

Dr. Lawrence Bircoll was a life saver for me I had an unfortunate mishap that caused me to shatter my left heal and misalign the ankle and several bones in the top outer foot. The injury could have been life changing the pain was unexplainable. Dr. Bircolls talents wisdom bedside manner sense of humor care and meticulous medicalsurgical skills were and are awesome. Two days post surgical there was zero pain...zero.. It was a blessing that I have been under Dr. Bircolls care. Dr. Bircolls Staff at all levels have been outstanding and continue to express continued concern and assistance...they are a terrific refection of Dr. Bircoll and his total patient care philosophy My most sincere and deepest thanks again

I gave one star because I couldnt give anything lower then that. I had a terrible experience and felt extremely uncomfortable until this moment. I need to share my experience. I was in acute pain and called to see a physician I had seen in the past she wasnt available because she only sees people with back pain and I had knee pain. So they scheduled me with this physician. It was my first time in this office and with this physician. They were running late and apologized for that. However after walking through those doors I felt like I was in a movie many many years ago. A place where people spoke with their eyes and were afraid to speak for fear of retaliation. As was waiting in the room and overheard the physician speak to other patients I got more and more uncomfortable. When it was my turn it was exactly what I thought it was going to be. I was rushed spoken to as a person who had limited knowledge and or education. My reports were dismissed the handling of my extremities was abrupt and insensitive for someone who was in pain. I had to argue with the provider to get my message across. My words were misconstrued. At one point I wanted to leave and the physician returned and stuck his head in the door and said I am not finished with you. In the mist of my shock fear and feeling extremely uncomfortable I noticed the same feeling in these office workers. They were like robots. As an African American women and healthcare provider I felt very uncomfortable watching other African American healthcare providers caring for African American patients acting like this. He tried to clear the air at the end and offered to sell me a knee brace and inflammation medication but the damage was done. Lastly my insurance information was entered incorrectly by the office staff. I caught the error and hopefully will not receive a bill. This was the worst physician experience of my life.

He’s rude and doesn’t listen to the patient nor shows concern. As I was trying to explain what was going on with my knee he left the room in the middle of my sentence and said he would be right back. He doesn’t take time to communicate

I wouldn’t send my dog to this man he has no type of beside manners you tell him the issue then turns around ask you the patient what do you want him to do about it oh sorry I thought he was the trained Dr. I’ve worked in the medical field foe over 12plus years and I can’t stand arrogant cocky Dr.’s my health is way to important to trust in a dr. that get’s mad when I tell them I don’t wanna be on bunches of narcotics or live at a pain clinic because he is too lazy to care about his patient’s DO NOT GO TO THIS DR. UNLESS YOUR ALREADY A DRUG ADDICT By the way I found a top notch ortho dr. Tuan Bui that properly took the time to find out I needed a 3 level ACDF fusion surgery and WOW I feel 300% better so Dr. BIRCOLL take a lesson on how to listen and care about the needs of your patients first your not god and you need to be ashamed of how you treat them. I ask RESURGEONS to take a closer look into there Dr’s they higher life is to short

How is this doctor rate at 4 stars??? Doesnt make sense. I went in with back pain he spent less than 5 minutes with me showed me a blurry black and white of one xray and spoke down to me like I was stupid... he said do core exercises that I was just like the other millions of people with back pain.... and did I say he didnt listen or what to answer any questions. He acted and treated me like I was the dumbest person on earth and I left in tears. I decided to go to a different doctor and he asked that I go ahead get my xrays from Resurgeons...turns out I have a birth defect of the spine Spina Bidifa Engagement Syndrome so clear on the xray the one he didnt show me. After my MRI I have 3 bulging discs and 1 herniated disc causing nerve compression.... please do not got to this guy

Terrible..please read all negative reviews as they are consistent with his lack of professionalism. A pill mill for 65+ rude hurried and dismissive. I arrived 20 mins early waited 1 hour for his 5 min assessment. Too many patients at once and room hoping. Didnt even look at my foot but took the copay..I am filing a complaint. Zero stars for this mediocre doctor. What a joke. Look elsewhere and dont waste your money or time.

He was in the room with me for all of 5 minutes. He seemed like he didnt care. He asked me if I wanted the lump on my feet removed or of I wanted it to stay. I wouldnt be here in your office if I wanted it to stay. Horrible experience and Im not going back. I told him when I walk I feel pain. He quickly ignored that. Offered me diclofenac. I didnt want pills for pain. I wanted a solution. He stated after the MRI we will see whats next. It just wasnt a good visit at all.
