No question my wife is alive because of Dr. Al-Kalla. It was a blessing that he was on duty the day my wife had to have emergency surgery for septic shock. I had weight loss surgery on 06/29/2022 in Frisco, Texas. During surgery my left lung collapsed and doctor Al Kalla operated on it and my large hernia. He came to me in ICU at the time after I woke up two days later and told me this. I was SO out of it didnt think to get his name or anything. I want to publicly thank him from the bottom of my heart for saving me. I later found out from Doctor Ayolla that it was his assistant that operated on my hernia and helped me. Thank God and him for helping me. God bless him🙏🏼🙏🏼

I was seen extremely quickly very little wait. the nurse was kind and efficient. The doctor was amazing at explaining things in layman terms and showed compassion and I would recommend him to anyone

I'm a, hopefully temporarily, disabled nurse who has been seeing Dr. Al-kalla for the last several months. I initially went to see him about having my hernias repaired, but being overweight, I have to lose some weight before getting those repaired. He REALLY listens to me every time I go in, super polite, and, from day 1, he went over all my weight loss options and has been my cheerleader and #1 supporter thru my journey of losing weight with medication only, which was my weight loss choice. I have my challenges with my health conditions but he's always so encouraging, even when I'm having bad days. I wish all doctors were like him. I'm getting close to my first hernia repair and I have complete trust in him! And I can say the same about the rest of his staff; couldn't ask for better!!!! You really can't go wrong with this group...try them once and you'll see.

UPDATE: I needed a procedure. The staff booked my surgery within 5 days. I was in the car literally on the way to my appointment for pre-op testing and got a call from his office requesting $800 before noon the NEXT DAY. This is ON TOP of the hospital charges. My surgery has now been canceled. They waited til 2 days before the surgery. I was already trying to figure out how much I could pay monthly to pay the whole thing off quickly; then this. Dr Al-Kalla was amazing! No judgement, no criticism, just kind, thoughtful and professional! His staff is exactly the same, bending over backwards to accommodate their patients. Would recommend to everyone!
