I truly appreciate the Awesome and Amazing Medical care and Support provided by the Ga Cancer Specialists Staff. They provide a feeling of Family. Thank you for professionalism and support during this Cancer Treatment and Care journey, You all made the difference
Everyone in the clinic from the front office to the nurses are AMAZING! Dr. Konala is very knowledgeable and takes his time with you while you’re seeing him. The whole staff truly care about their patients!
If I could go be a 0 star review I would. The staff were uncommunicative not only with my mother as the patient, but also to each other. The doctor would say one thing then the Nurse Practitioner would say something else contradictory. They never took notes. We would express concern for a problem on appointment 1, the doctor would say it’s fine. Then on appointment 2, once the concern was a problem, the doctor would say “why did you not say something sooner?!”. The nurses and front staff are rude as hell. Thank god my mom had a good support system. I could see them bullying a patient who has no one to back them up. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. Absolutely horrible experience and not because of the cancer, but because of the incompetent employees and healthcare providers.
The Woman who answers the phone is very rude and unprofessional. My daughter went to the er almost two weeks ago found out she has a clot and has been trying to get an appointment because she is scared to death and that woman had no concern and didn’t care at all about making an appointment. She has made her wait and wait and has been so rude and mean every time my daughter calls and then I called and yep the same thing. I will be filing a complaint about her because you do not need to work in health care when you don’t care about anyone at all. It is unprofessional but it is called bedside manner and she needs to learn it or find a job that she don’t talk to people. I don’t see how she gets away with that. I would recommend anyone to find a completely different office to go to. You should not be stressed to call and make an appointment which my daughter was because of how she was spoken to. It is sad that people get away with treating people this way.
Dr. Konala and I assume these are medical assistants and not nurses, but I’m unsure. One of the MA’s put on gloves, opened the door, grabbed the utensils and tools she was supposed to set up for drawing blood, and had to be told to rewash her hands and put on new non-contaminated gloves before touching the patient. The doctor is unclear and indecisive in answering very specific questions regarding health. As a patient, you want to come and feel safe, like you matter, and that they are taking into consideration that this is life or death. Patients are afraid. Patients are concerned and FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES. Currently, my mother is going through therapy. Trying to figure out how she doesn’t have cancer, then to tell her that despite the paperwork from the doctor saying there is no cancer can contradict it and say that she does. It’s no clarity. It’s confusing and quite frankly uncomfortable. Please regain compassion. Make your teams go through sensitivity training, or gather ones who actually want to help instead of seemingly impatient, having attitudes, and getting the patients confused. For those who are considerate, kudos, I can only imagine the embarrassment felt knowing you work with people who no longer care.
The majority of the staff here are rude and very unprofessional. I hated having to bring my mother here but her options were limited. You people need to do better for the patients AND their families/care givers.
Dr.McDonald was extremely unprofessional. She won't find your cancer in time, she doesn't care. Picking her is like picking out a tombstone. Went to her years ago and she couldn't find my cancer in the early stages. WORST DOCTOR EVER. Pick another group to treat your cancer if you want to live.
Very nice e and professional
By far the worst medical experience I've ever had! in Cobb hospital, dr munjal was fantastic, outpatient douglasville with the blonde dr was a nightmare! I'm on oxygen and they told me come in at 10:30 for a 11:25 appt (switched to 11:45 all of a sudden when after 11:25 I asked what was going on). I was there at 10:45 (receptionist said 11 was fine). I wait forever, they do blood work, and the dr comes to tell me all she's doing is bloodwork even though I'm fresh out the hospital and was supposed to do another infusion that day along with a shot of b12. I got pissed. I'm home bound. I'm on oxygen and a million other stuff. I asked why couldn't they order the labs and then discuss it during the first visit? why am I paying $25 for the visit, to pay to draw blood, and then pay so they can tell me it's low. this dr didnt even read my chart! she thought I had a blood transfusion (nope), that I only got iron once (no), that my iron wasn't low (it was), it was only low from being in the hospital (it's been low for 6 months)! then she said let her print my paperwork so she can explain it...lo and behold, everything was low! so she went from saying i wasn't truly anemic to then printing me info about anemia. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! they wanted me to come in two weeks after for the results. I went to my pcp right after, she put in the order, and 3 days later you know what my results were? I'm anemic, my iron is low and my transferrin saturation was 7% (its supposed to be 20-50).
I feel like I an being taken care of by the best and most knowledgeable Doctors and nurses. They have a spotless facility and treat everyone with grace and respect. I like all the staff they are all wonderful especially Luke, Robin and Chandra. Thank you all so very much for taking me in for my treatments after Coliseum closed their infusion center. I would recommend Georgia Cancer Specialist to everyone. Thanks Jessie Crawford

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
