I was looking for an Orthopedic surgeon referral in hand and per my insurance was calling around, all I got were answering machines (Huzzah! 21 century) & when I tried to leave a message "machine is full" or totally ignored except for Piedmont Orthopedics, they were having issues with their phones, so I booked an appointment online. As I walked in Douglassville Office I was greeted & even got a smile(I could tell even wearing a mask)! The office was clean & there was what I call flow (busy but there was movement of the patients). I've been to other doctors offices; taking people from church, it felt like I was dropping off my laundry Not Here! In these times of social distancing there's still personal interaction & it's alive & well only at; Piedmont Orthopedics / Ortho Atlanta!

Me and my husband went to Ortho Atlanta today and the visit was great as usual. Check in was easy. The staff was wonderful. The PA Allen is the best!!! He is always helpful and thorough and he explains everything down to the wire. He showed us our X-rays and went into detail about our issues and the treatments he suggests. We were well educated on our medical issue and left the both of us feeling at ease and full of knowledge. Wisdom is power and a great doctor is priceless!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. May God continue to bless you for caring about your patients and being so patient and understanding about our needs🙏 ❤️🙏.

I've seen three different doctors through this felicity about a fractured thumb. The first (from peach tree immediate ) called it a cyst, the second (a doctor in this facility) said there was nothing wrong and refused my cast, and the third (Piedmont orthopedic) said there was a fracture but cannot put a cast on me for some reason. I'm incredibly dissatisfied with the treatment I have received and the lack of communication between doctors and patience, as well as the absolute lack of consistency.

well I guess everyone is wondering why I gave a one star review,here is my reasoning .my sister had fractured her thumb about four weeks ago and has been sent back and forth from doctor to doctor with different diagnoses and all she needed was a cast and was not given one and can not work or go on about her life because she is constantly in pain

Appointment was at 3:30pm. I arrived 3:25pm. Waited until 4:09pm to see Dr. he came into the room, closed the door, stood by the door and proceeded to ask how’s my ankle. I told him it was still hurting he never once looked at it nor touch it. Said I’ll get you an MRI scheduled and begin to open the door. I asked that’s it? He stated yes but wait here. I waited there until 4:29pm for another person to come into the room to escort me to billing. No resolution at all. No appointment for MRI, someone will call me. Just a waste of my time. They act like they did not want to service me at all. This was the Douglasville location.
