Childrens Healthcare Of Atlanta Outpatient Surgery Center At Satellite Boulevard's Online Review Report Card

Yesterday we came in for a 7:15 appointment and the my son (5) who need surgery for adenoid removal and tubes placed in his ears. He has had constant ear infections for months now. They were so gentle with my boy. He did fight the anesthesia pretty hard but he is on the spectrum and is scared of masks including covid masks. He went under about 8:45 a.m. and me and my wife were moved to post op to wait on him. They offer one on one nursing. Every patient has there own nurse in recovery. They finally wheeled him in to recovery very soon after. He did instantly want his iv out and they took it out and he hates bracelets too so they took them off. He calmed down enough to take in some liquids and was released and we were on the way home. 10/10 care. They made sure he was comfortable and the surgeon was a professional! We love her! Today he is perfectly normal and back to his old self. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

My two year old had surgery today and wow! I had calmed most my nerves prior to coming but let me tell you from the anesthesiologist, To Dr. Holder and the nurses I was as calm as I could be..I hope My son never needs surgery again but this place rocked out! They treat your kid like it's their kid! My son is very vocal so he didn't like it but knowing he was in amazing care was the best.

My 3yr old had his tonsils and adenoids removed here. First surgical procedure and I was on extreme pins and needles. From the time we got registered up to discharge, the care and customer service was absolutely AMAZING. Our pre-op nurse Ashley made sure that my son was calm and comfortable, got all the stickers he desired, and even went above and beyond to find him a toy that resembled a Spidermans hand (he brought/wore tons of Spiderman that day). We were kept in the loop about everything ahead of time and as it was happening. I never had a moment to feel as afraid as I felt the days leading up to the procedure. Dr. Browning was quick and efficient with the procedure and reassuring that it all went well. Jennifer, his PACU nurse, took really good care of him after the procedure as well. Then there was Charles (post-op nurse) AMAZING!!! He had a very unique way of making sure that we remembered everything that needed to be done to care for my little once we arrived home and I LOVED it. I could not have asked for a better place or team to have had our first surgery. Thank you CHOA for the care and support we were provided! I could never thank you enough!

My 2 yr old son had 2 minor procedures done; it went smoothly and fast. The doctors and nurses were great.

My son has been suffering with Strep Throat for years and finally was able to appease the insurance to get surgery. Clarice Brown is our Dr and she’s very caring and attentive to all of your concerns. I don’t take my child to anyone but CHOA when it comes to surgery and after hours Urgent Care! Pay attention to the bad reviews on here, those folks are putting their reviews on the wrong site, they had bad experiences at the Urgent Care not the Surgery Center. These folks here are extremely caring and love your child as much as you do. This place is set up for kids to enjoy their time here and not be stressed. Excellent experience. Thanks to all the members of staff here for helping me get through it!

Ms. Palmer was amazing with my daughter. This is the second time we have seen her to get bloodwork done and she is always so kind and patient. I cannot imagine a better pediatric phlebotomist.

Amazing staff from start to finish. We came here for my son’s surgery and staff was very welcoming and kept us in the loop about everything. I highly recommend.

This have been a such as Great Experience with our GI Specialist Dr. Patel, She has been such as Good Support in our Journey with our son Joshua. She is not only been our Doctor she is been our ANGEL 😇, she has been Patient and understanding what we have been through with our son, It is hard to find Angels like her, We are going to Miss her a lot, sure she needs to continue her way, I’m Pretty sure that God will guide her to her Professional and Personal Journey. This place was amazing! Our 4 year old son had to go in for his first surgical procedure. We were so nervous about him being "put under" with the anesthesia. He is finicky and very suspicious of new things. We had no idea what to expect. From the time we walked through the door, we felt right at home. I can tell that these folks work with children on the regular. They go above and beyond to make them feel safe and welcome. I felt so heard and comforted. The recovery nurses and attendants were great! So much patience, attentiveness, and warmth. I have very fond memories of this place. I was thoroughly impressed. Every single staff member I encountered, and there were lots of them, were sweet and endearing. Awesome!

Mi hija de 15 meses estuvo aquí en la cirugía de tubos en los oídos la doctor Prickett fue tan atenta con la bebe al igual que el anestesiologo y las enfermeras , fueron rápidos y precisos todo salió bien !!
