I saw Dr Marvin Royster on August 5 2021 for pain in my right hip and knee. Without a doubt Dr Royster is one of the most caring kind and knowledgeable physicians I have ever seen. He spent a long time with me explaining what he thought the problem was and how to deal with it. He took Xrays of both my hip and knee showed me the Xrays and explained the best course of treatment and action for my problems. He was so patient and had such a wonderful demeanor that I felt very confident and calm and agreed with his plan. I would highly recommend Dr Royster to anyone who is seeking an Orthopedist for hipknee type issues.

Dr Royster is amazing Yesterday was my first ever orthopedic visit in my life so I was a bit anxious. He spent so much time examining my problem and explaining to me how to manage it and heal it. He gave me exercises to do at home and diagrams of what muscles were involved. He was warm positive and encouraging My sister who was with me was also amazed at his thoroughness and friendly manner. He answered all my questions and I felt very much more informed and hopeful when I left his office

Dr Royster is great This was my first visit for hip pain. I found him to be personable professional insightful and knowledgeable. He spent time assessing my range of motion and strength and talked to me about what he was doing. I already feel some relief from the 2 shots and exercises he gave me. It’s too soon to know if this will resolve my issues but I feel confident that if I need to see him again he will find a solution to get me more relief. He’s a rare doctor and I am so glad I chose to see him.

I love that Dr. Royster takes the time to explain everything to you. He listened and asked questions to help resolve pain and discomfort following my total knee replacement. He assured me after a thorough examination that my TKR is perfect and the pain is from my IT Band. He told me the exercises I need to do to help the problem and explained why I am in pain. He really cares about his patients.

Dr. Royster is the best. He listened to my concerns about my hip. After reviewing the Xray I’m definitely going to need a replacement at some point. But I have important upcoming travel plans and having surgery at this point would make travel impossible. Dr. Royster made it a priority to come up with a treatment plan that would give me the relief that I need now steroid shot with the understanding that I can come back to request the surgery when it’s more convenient for me. He’s pleasant noncondescending and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend
