Dr. D and his staff are the best I truly love when Candi step in and spoke with me when I needed her the most. Candi continue to keep that pleasant persona and the gentleman at the front desk is very professional. Dr. D is not only a good doctor he takes the time to answer your questions and settle your worries and very comical I love his personality. He is the best DR youll ever meet.

Prior to surgery i visited a different clinic for the Bariatric surgery and was not sold.My Primary care Doctor suggested I visit the Bariatric center in Duluth GA.I scheduled and appointment with Doctor Del Mazo following my consult i was convinced he was the surgeon to do the job. Dr. Del Mazo took his time and answered all of my questions. The operation went as planned on a Wednesday up walking in the afternoon sent home Thursday and back to work Friday. My operation was done a year ago everything Dr Del Mazo told me would happen has happened and I could not be more satisfied with the outcome. Great experience

Hi Before making a decision to do this surgery I went and saw 2 other dr.s and Dr. Del mazo won Me over He had great interpersonal relationship skills and was very knowledgeable and made the process smooth... and the kicker after the surgery he brought me a bear and said bear...ri..atrics.. get it no dr has ever done that that was so kind.. also brought back my confidence??

Dr. del Mazo is an amazing surgeon. He makes you feel as if you are his only patient I know he has many more but I always felt as if I was his first priority. He visited me in the hospital after surgery and encouraged me to get out of bed and walk he even challenged me and another patient to a contest ... she won darn it But it was a great experience all around.

Dr. Del Mazo is a very knowledgeable and capable surgeon. He is very understanding and he listens to your concerns. After I left the hospital for my RNY I had a slight hiccup and ended up in the ER overnight. He came out during the weekend in the middle of the night to make sure I was alright. He’s very good and kind.

I did my homework prior to and at the time of surgery 3 12 years ago and Dr. Del Mazo was working with one of the top surgeons in the state possibly county. After speaking with Dr. Del Mazo and his team at gwinnett center for weight management i was impressed. Dr. Del Mazo is very knowledgeable but down to earth. He doesnt talk at you nor do you feel rushed. He professionalism is second to none . He surgical skills are no different. Everything that he explained to me prior to surgery happened just as he stated it would no surprises. Post surgery was the same no surprises and minimal discomfort. I would recommend any and everybody to Dr. Del Mazo. His surgical plan is tailored to the individual and not a cookie cutter program. Im 3 years post op and have maintained 100+ pounds loss.

I am having my surgery on February 28 2018 what let me know that I have the right surgeon is when my son was really scared about my surgery I took him in to have my preop appointment and Dr Del Mazo Took the time to explain everything to my 8 year old son . Dr. Del Mazo is hands down the best ever. Great bedside manner funny and attentive to your needs. I was actually going to have my surgery done by another surgeon but i found that the other surgeon was cold and didnt even bother to ask if i had any questions. I went to Dr. Del Mazo just to see if we vibed and sure enough i felt like we hit it off. I had to stay at the hospital an extra day and every day he visited me to make sure i was ok. Im so happy hes my surgeon.
