Although I have seen Dr V for years I was extremely displeased on my last visit. I will be looking for a NEW cardioligist

Dr V was not my 1st choice for cardiac surgery to repair a mitral valve. Preliminary tests were done to ensure no blockage was found prior to surgery. Three weeks later I was admitted to Gwinnett Medical for repairer or replacement of mitral valve. I didnt see Dr V for 5 out of 7 days I was in Cardiac ICU. Even though he was I the hospital he didnt make daily visits. Following surgery by Dr. Richard Harvey I was told I needed a pacemaker implanted. Why? Never really got a good answer since Dr. V didnt make regular rounds to see me. As of today April 23 2020 I have tried to make an appointment with Dr. V and have been told I cannot see him until late May. I am having pains in my chest but no one seems to care and tell me to go to the emergency room. I AM SO DISSAPPOINTED WITH THE ACTIONS OF DR V HIS STAFF IN ACCOMMADATING ME FOR WHAT COULD BE A LIFE THREATENING ISSUE AFTER OPEN HEART SURGERY. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Dr. V is a wonderful doctor. He has saved my husbands life on two occasions. I would recommend him highly to anyone in need of a top cardiologist. Our entire family are patients of his.

Dr. Videlefsky is very concious thorough considerate understanding and compassionate in his full knowledge of heart disease and vascular disease in diagnosis and prognosis. He has cared for me for 11 years. I am completely happy with him as my Doctor.

Ive been with Dr. V since my first heart incident and I wouldnt change for anything. He is very knowledgeable very good at listening and very direct with his assessment and solutions. He is a Best in Class cardiologist and person.
