List of Leslie Pollard's Reviews
I absolutely love Dr. Pollard and the staff are great. Yes there are times when the wait time is longer than other times. But as a nurse I do understand. The care I receive and his compassion and humble attitude and down to earth spirit is well worth it.
If there was a prize for world's best orthodontist, Dr. Pollard would win it.
Does no good no send messages thru patient portal as they are never answered. You have to call office the next day to get anything done.
Waste of strength, energy health to get there.
Every time it have seen Dr. Pollard he has been knowledgeable and a good listener. He has gone out of his way to call me himself when I needed it.
In short Pollard's office is one of the worst you will ever experience. Getting an appointment is a nightmare. And seeing the doctor is even worse. It is typical to wait 2-3 hours to see Pollard for 7 minutes. The office staff forgets to send your referrals, they forgot to send the record to the specialist, and you have to call the 3-4 times for everything, they still don't do the job. It took them 2 months for my CT scan letter. And three weeks to fax my record to a specialist.I had to submit an official complaint about Pollard Jr Leslie J MD:1. His office is always busy, and it took them more than two months to submit Physician to Physician review for my CT scan test to the United health care. In this two month, I had to call his office seven times and every time they told me this would happen in 1-2 days, but it took more than two months.2. Getting test and lab results: This is a long process, each time I have to call 2-3 times, and the office promises that the nurse will call in 2-3 hours. 2-3 day goes past, but no one ever pays attention. Last time it took more than three weeks that the doctor's office promised me they would call or send the previous blood test results and after calling five times, I got a call from the nurse that my cholesterol is still high. For my CT scan result, it took more than a month and four phone calls, and at the end nurse just told me the doctor say it seems ok. I never get any official result on the mail or when I ask them to mail it to me.3. I was referred to a Gastrologist; this referral process took about one month. Finally, I visited the Gastrologist on June 16th, but Doctor Pollard office forgot to send my records to the Gastrologist, so the visit was a waste of time. Moreover, despite three times calling and asking Doctor Pollard office, they have not done it yet- today is 07/21/2018.4. I needed the Physician Results Form to be completed with Dr. Pollard since he is my primely Physician. I called his office early this week and asked to make an appointment. I was told that since it is a simple blood test, I don’t need an appointment. I can walk in, and it will be done in 5-10 minutes. I took 1 hour off from my work, knowing the history of Dr. Pollard office and they still made me wait more than an hour, and I had to leave without taking the test since I had to go back to my work. I ask the front desk several times, and I was told that they are behind schedule. When I asked why they did not inform me on the phone or when I got to the office, they had no answer for that.5. Long waiting hours, the most time I spent with the doctor has been about 7 minutes. To see the doctor for 7 minutes the wait time is more than one and half hours usually. However, that is the minimum. I have waited for about 3 hours to see the doctor last time, just for 5 minutes. And 2 and half hours the time before that.Since this is the typical situation in Pollard office and no one cares, I talked to the manager she told me that this is what it is and I can change my doctor if I don’t like it.
Center for Primary Care has 2 locations, the new one is far better than the old one. The old one smells disgusting as the carpet is very old . The staff are nice and will call you fast but there is a long waiting may be because everyone goes there . Then u see the Dr for 5 minutes , yes 5 minutes. Dr Pollard was nice , he just does his job , may be I was unlucky patient , last time I went I had to wait for an hour just so hear him talking to another patient .I felt disrespect and he didn't care of apologizing afterwards. So I left the office.. I never had any good experience there
Have been Dr Pollards patient for over 15 years. Like any other Doctor sometimes he hard to get in touch with but with upcoming improvements to CPC electronic/ computer systems may help improve this problem.
Have been with Dr Pollard since he took over patients' care from retiring Dr Mabley some 20 plus years ago and recommend him to several people who also became his patients.
I have gone to Dr. Pollard for several years and he is a great primary physician especially with my history of injuries and TBI. Wait time is minimal, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and I'm out of there very quickly. I would highly recommend Dr. Pollard

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
