We have known Dr. Shireen Q. Moore for almost four years. She is an extraordinary family medicine specialist. Dr. Moore is very professional, kind, and with a smile that brightens the room. She takes the time to listen to both my wife and me and is very compassionate. She takes the time to examine carefully and prescribes medication when truly needed. Her diagnoses have been accurate every time. Dr. Moore answers our questions as we work together as a team to provide us with excellent health care management. Really disappointing. At first she was ok, but as time went on she became almost arrogant. She prescribed me a medication that could’ve killed me (per the pharmacy) and her nurse (direct by Dr. Moore) actually called ME to scold me when the pharmacy called them to report the interaction. I have mental health issues and rely heavily on my husband for help in understanding meds and treatments she was dismissive of him and refused to let him be a part of my ongoing treatment. Says one thing in the room, then does something totally different, for instance saying “we’ll wait and see before we order that test” while actually ordering the same test. I dealt with these issues for over a year, and I’m really disappointed, really frustrated. Side note, the office staff is no joke, the worst office staff I’ve ever encountered in my life. Rude, dismissive, judgmental. Awful. Too bad because she’s smart and seems to care, but I can’t deal with a flippant attitude about my health.
