This was the only place within a 100 miles of my city that would not only take my daughter’s insurance, also took same day appointment. My daughter had a non sports injury. The staff was friendly, super helpful, and the doctor explained in great detail the reason of her random knee pains. I also like the app. It allows you to do all paper work before hand. And yes mask are still required. If this location wasn’t super far, I would come back for my daughter’s PT.

Horrible customer service dealing with billing department. We were told when we made my daughters appointment they took our insurance and each visit after. After 3 visits I get a bill and see no insurance adjustments, so I can and the rep tells me they do not take my insurance and some of their reps dont know which UHC plans they do no take (mind you 3 different people told us our insurance was good with them and they were filling it) After 3 visits not being covered by ins at almost $3000.00 I called to speak to a supervisor- the first told me usually they dont do any discounts but they would do only 15% so I asked to speak to a supervisor- so after 4 days back and forth, the best they could do was 20%. The billing/insurance department is not organized at all, do not take their word that they take your insurance because they do not verify this ahead of time. VERY disappointed in this CHOA location.
