Dr Gonzalez performed the biopsy on a sore under my tongue. Dr Yancey referred me to him for a biopsy. When I arrived, the appointment desk informed me that my insurance was not accepted. They could have told me that ahead of time. So I had to pay for the whole thing out of pocket. The whole time I was with the doctor he seemed to be hurried and rushed. The nitrous oxide did not affect me in the least. He did not allow my tongue to get numb and then proceeded just stick needles in it. It was quite painful. Now, over a month later, my tongue is still very tender and hurts whenever it hits on my teeth. The pain from the original sore was minor compared to the discomfort 1 month after my procedure.
