Went in for a suspicious breast lump. Saw NP who evaluated the site and immediately ordered mammogram. It was then read and an ultra sound was ordered and read. Next I had an ultrasound guided biopsy. All this happened in one visit that lasted 3 hours. Dr Auffart oversaw the whole project and explained everything along the way. What a wonderful system! No waiting for extra appointments, all taken care of at the same time. Biopsy results took about a week. I was diagnosed with TNBC and decided on a bilateral mastectomy. Within 3 weeks surgery was taken care of in a wonderful surgical center at NEG Hospital. This was my 3rd cancer diagnosis but the most efficient process I've seen. Dr Auffart is thoughtful and kind, knowledgeable and articulate, I highly recommend this practice.

Horrible experience with this office. My pcp referred me for a biopsy. I personally called the office to schedule the biopsy. My appt went on my chart and it stated on the appt BIOPSY. Went to my appt and after seeing the Dr for an exam, he told me someone would come and get me for the biopsy. As I was waiting, a lady came into my room and said they needed x amount of money before they would do the biopsy, as I was sitting and waiting for said biopsy. I asked why nobody called me before my appt to go over any of this information. Why wait until I show up and right before I’m taken back, come in my room and say by the way you have to pay x amount. Why did they accept my co pay up front and then come back to me for more money? I was told, and I quote, “the Dr didn’t know he was going to do a biopsy”!! That was a LIE when it plainly stated on my appt BIOPSY. I was lied to by her, then the office manager came in and told me the same lie!! I walked out and will never return. I will not have a care team that treats patients that way and bold face lies. Sad excuse for patient care.

Went in for a long overdue preventative colonoscopy procedure after changing doctors due to my reservations with previous physician. Could not be any more pleased with Dr. Auffarth and staff. Can't remember a thing about the procedure but that's how it's supposed to be. Told one benign polyp was removed. Thanks Dr. Auffarth! See you in 5 years.

He is the kindest and best surgeon that I have ever met! Really genuinely cares and I hardly have a scar! He even prayed with me and my daughter upon learning of having to have a lumpectomy procedure. Very patient and understanding. I wish that I could give 10 starts!

I saw Dr. Auffarth for a biopsy on a thyroid nodule. He explained the procedure and reviewed the possible outcomes. For each outcome, he discussed the next step. When I recounted my experience with another surgeon, and the pain I experienced, Dr. Auffarth told me if I felt any pain at all to let him know and he would take care of it. However, I did not experience pain from the procedure. I found the office staff and med techs to be helpful and caring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Auffarth to others.

I was very nervous about having surgery and in the end I was so happy with my choice of surgeon. After my consultation, I was very comfortable with the procedure that I would have just days later. Dr. Auffarth is very kind and listens to his patients’ concerns. I would absolutely recommend him!
