Dr Copper is my super hero - he gave me my life back. I had a large abdominal hernia that 3 other surgeons would not touch (due to 4 prior abdominal surgeries). He used robotic technology which resulted in a faster recovery and minimal pain. I enthusiastically recommend him to anyone needing hernia repair surgery. The clinic and the hospital were both professional and personable. Great experience all around

Dr. Cooper Is a very competent surgeon! I have no complaints about his skill or his performance of my procedure! On the other hand, his staff makes mistakes, does not return calls and even cuts their office phone off during business hours! This has happened on more than one occasion! It just rings and rings and does not even go to a service!

Dr. Copper is very professional and listens to your concerns, however he specializes in Incisional Hernia Repair, Laparoscopic, Incisional Hernia, and Gallbladder Removal (Cholecystectomy), Laparoscopic. I was scheduled for a Hemorrhoidectomy and was referred to him. I will say the aftercare and information sent home is a slap in my face. He prescribed me pain medication to only last 4 days yet told me it would take a good 10-14 days until I felt more like myself, maybe even longer. I have spoken with his nurse requesting something else to help the pulsating throbbing pain and was told Dr. Copper never prescribes that to any of his patients. Smh. I needed this surgery to save my soul and he did it. But that's all he did. I guess his work is done. Please research your surgery and the speciality of the surgeon before you make that life changing decision.

Experience could not have been any better. Dr. Copper fully explained the procedure for hernia using the Da Vinci robot. Recovery was much easier than anticipated. No pain medication was needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Copper.

Great experience! From pre-surgery consultation, surgery, and post-op follow up, all appointments were on time, which is very rare in my experience with other doctors. Surgery scheduling was quick, and I highly recommend the Gainesville Surgery Center if it's an option. Definitely give Dr. Copper a look for general laparoscopic surgery.

Not trying to sound dramatic but Dr. Copper saved my life! I was diagnosed with Cholecystitis due to cholestasis. I was referred to Dr.Copper by another physician. Dr. Copper read my CT before meeting with me, he knew everything I’d expect him to know before speaking with me, and he listened with sympathy of how sick I’d been feeling. Dr. Copper performed a cholecystectomy a week after meeting with me. I’m now two weeks post surgery and feeling better than I have in quite some time. Because of Dr. Copper I feel like a brand new women!
