I have a friend that Dr. Moomey did a surgery on a placed a stent in his abdomen. It worked for 3 years and then the stent failed. It fell apart inside him and he passed away due to internal bleeding. The doctor that tried to save his life 3 years later after the stent failed was very irate. He asked what doctor had placed this stent and she told him it was Dr. Moomey. It turns out that the stent was on recall due to known failures and nobody decided to inform them. The Doctor said this stent should of never been used for this situation and that the doctor that used it should have known better and should lose his license. He died just because of this careless mistake that Dr. Moomey made. They knew the stent was recalled and did nothing to inform anyone.

I have a blood clot in my foot and was treated at gwinette Medical in Lawrenceville by Dr.Moomy he is a very pleasant Dr and is genuinely concerned about his patients. He is still currently treating me for aftercare from the hospital.He is up front send honest and let me know what to expect.His nurses and staff were kind and compassionate. I would highly recommend this Dr. And the office in Gainesville thankyou so much

Take your veins someplace else. He was over an hour late to the appointment. I was referred to him for vascular analysis after suffering a swollen knee and leg for two weeks with immobility at one point. He walked in asked what happened looked at the left side of the leg then the right side of the leg told me I have varicose veins and I should go by Wal Mart and pick up compression socks. The appointment was over in less than 5 minutes. He did not use an instrument he did not do an ultrasound to look for clotsclotting he offered nothing regarding the knee event. He said that he wears compression socks 5 days per week and so should I. I asked about the evaluation of the knee. He said that he’s a vascular specialist and he can tell that the varicose veins have been there a long time and they aren’t helping whatever is going on with the knee. He looked at the left and right side of the leg for a total of five seconds and he never looked at the knee. There was no evidence of his knowledge or helpfulness.

Dr. Death Do not use this doctor what so ever. He is extremely arrogant and does not care At All about his patience. He does not do Any follow up after surgery you have to continually cal and cal and hope he responds. He and his staff are responsible for the Death of my mother and countless other debacles Steer Clear please

He took over when the other Doctor felt this was out of his leagueThanks and has been ten years since the procedureI would like to know where he is now practicing for a backup

I had top notch care with my viens at this office. I am very happy that I was referred here.

After listening to the podcast Missing Richard Simmons I went to my doc for the annual physical only to find out that Doctor Moomey mysteriously disappeared from the practice similar to how Richard Simmons vanished from his exercise studio and the public eye. Dr. Moomey was great we all hope for his safe return.

I have experienced several procedures with Dr. Moomeys team. He is a thorough professional. Rescheduling is a fact of life and procedures must be prioritized. I feel very fortunate to be his patient. I will not use another surgeon. In my eyes he is the best. If I must wait and I too have been rescheduled I will wait. He is that good I recommend him to all with no reservations.

My father had been scheduled for surgery twice with this doctor and both times he has waited for over 5 hours hooked up to IVetc solely to be told sorry well need to reschedule the doctor is running late. This is by far the worse experience weve had with a physician. Terrible just terrible
