Amazing physician and staff. Dr. Schaheen took extra time to explain everything to me and allowed me to ask questions, insured I had no complications after surgery, and treated me like family through the whole process.

Dr. Schaheen is an amazing, caring surgeon. She was willing to do surgery on my hand so I wouldn’t have to wait 12 months after heart surgery. My cardiologist cleared me if I could find a surgeon who would take the time to do it and not require me to stop taking Plavix. Dr. Emily was willing and did a wonderful job. It’s three months post surgery and I’ve fully recovered. I highly recommend Dr. Emily.

My husband had a work related injury to two fingers on his left hand. He was referred to Dr. Schaheen by the SRMC ER physician. We are thankful she was the surgeon. She was caring and concerned right from the beginning. He is two weeks post-op and because of her surgical skills and concern for the best possible outcome, the end result will be better than we even hoped possible. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

After putting off Carpel Tunnel surgery for years, I was referred to Dr. Schaheen by my neurologist. I was truely impressd, not only was she extremely professional in explanations and treatment options but she was wonderful to talk to and has a wonderful patient - physician rapport. Easiest surgery I have ever had and results have been such a relief . Would I recommend her, you bet!!! !!!!!

Change isn't always a bad thing. I was scheduled to have double Carpal Tunnel surgery with another doctor in the group when I was told that a new surgeon was assigned to my surgery. I was a little worried as I was very familiar with the other surgeon. After meeting with Dr. Schaheen I was immediately put at ease. She is extremely confident and really able to explain the procedure. Everything went like clockwork, what she said would happen did, the recovery was extremely fast and the follow up made me feel like she was vested in my recovery. I cannot tell you what a difference the surgery made in my life. Thank You Dr. Shaheen.

I really liked Dr. Schaheen from the first meeting. She was very pleasant and professional and easy to talk to.

I tore my distal bicep tendon last November (2018) and saw Dr. Schaheen for consultation. From the very first moment my wife and I met the Dr., we were instantly put at ease about the injury, the surgery, the recovery. Dr. Schaheen just had a way of communicating with us that was so personal. We honestly felt like we were her only patient(s) that day. Dr. Schaheen's bed-side manner, her ability to speak in layman's terms and her caring attitude were so amazing, especially in today's world that's going 110 mph and doctors seem to come in and out of the office like a whirl-wind.......... And then the actual surgery, the post-op, the follow-up appointments and the re-hab all went like clock-work under the guidance and direction of Dr. Schaheen. In a nut-shell, after all was said and done, it was obvious to us that Dr. Schaheen was a very skilled and talented surgeon, a highly intelligent lady, and just a downright like-able person.
