List of Holmes B. Marchman's Reviews
He made sure that the test results were in favor of the insurance company. Each time he inserted the needles he would bend and twist my legs as much as he could so the results wouldnt be accurate
Still trying to decide what my actual feelings were from the visit. I was referred here after a visit to an after hours clinic for some really bad stubborn pain I was having. My spouse came with me to the visit. He shook hands and acknowledged us both. My take on him is that he seemed very “frank and direct” with you on what he thinks feels or acknowledges in his area of expertise. My primary caregiver who I saw a day before actually gave me meds that made me feel the best I had in almost 3weeks of pain he made a comment about that being “premature” of her to prescribe those to me yet those were the only thing that helped me to withstand “activityrisingstanding in those almost 3 weeks. So not sure how that was “premature” of her to do that when it’s the One thing that actually helped in that time?... he did seem positive though about my visit and made me feel that more positive about my situation. So I was glad about that. His “directness” and at times “fasttalk” could seem “rushed” depending on why you are there and what you want done. That’s why my feelings were a little mixed. But I felt positive about the visit and was referred to some PT. So in all it was an average positive experience so far. But once again could depend on how you take his deameanor according to the type of person “you” are as well and what your there for.
He patted me on the shoulder and completely dismissed my pain fatigue memory fog. Told me I just didnt want to work.
When I saw Dr Marchman he spoke so fast I couldnt comprehend what he was saying. The visit was so rushed I felt like I was in a whirlwind. He did not take the time to look at my MRI. He did not take my condition serious. I have since made an appointment with another doctor. It was a total waste of my time. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
I dont understand the negative reviews the people have given for Dr. Marchman. He has been wonderful to me patiently listened to all of my complaints. He diagnoses problems and then refers me to specialists. Perhaps those people who have been so critical of him dont really understand what a Physiatrist does. I would happily refer anyone to him. He is the best
Specialty Orthopedic related neurological dysfunction. Seen for an arm injury with nerve damage. Before here I had Neurontin a compression bandage iceheat. In addition I had a negative xray a test for blood clot beforehand. This doctor is quick efficient. He gathers the information from the patient but I feel like he interrupts because he is smart and already figured out the problem. BUT I gave 4 stars because he needs to listen a little more to patient. Some pts not as assertive
Went to him because of chronic back pain. Got an MRI and he didnt even diagnose me even though it was clear that my disc was herniated. Had to go to another doctor to get a clear diagnosis and treatment plan. Would not recommend. His attitude made me feel like my problems didnt matter.
Dr. Marchman is one of the nicest most personable and genuinely caring physicians I have ever had in my 36 years of very extensive health issues from cancer rare disease SCI etc.I had been to over a dozen appointments with all different types of doctors trying to get to the bottom of my most recent health struggles and each doctor would pass the buck and send me elsewhere and usually suggested the Shepherd Center. Well once I ended up face to face with Dr. Marchman hes been on top of the situation and actually piecing everything together and thinking outside of the box of his expertise. Dr. Marchman personally called me after 6 PM one evening to deliver some test results and fill me in on the next step. We spoke at length on the phone and he makes you feel like youre the only patient he has in the building during office visits as he gives you all the time in the world. Do NOT believe the Dacula review because it couldnt be further from the truth. Doctors who are out only to collect insurance money and dont care about their patients individually dont call after hours and personally give test results. They make you come in to get your results and charge you for an office visit. Dr. Marchman is a true blessing to me and I HIGHLY recommend him
Dr. Marchman does not care about his patients at all. He makes light of their condition. He is just collecting money from insurance. He has the same routine every visit . He makes fun of his patients and talks down to them. Why this man ever became a doctor is beyond me Do not go to him.
Holly Archer was wonderful..the rest of the staff could use a few lessons in customer service..very long wait in getting results from tests also.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
