Jameela Harper's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Harper did not keep my best interest in mind. Before shift change the 1st Dr discovered that my son had flipped and worked with me to try & correct the process. After shift change & knowing that info, Dr Harper allowed me to continue push for over 5 hours. I was completely exhausted & my neck was inflamed. My husband had to help lift me while pushing b/c I could not physically pick myself up. At one point my husband had to correct her on how long I had been pushing. She thought I had only been pushing for 3 hours when I had already pushed for 5 hours! That’s 2 hours over what she thought, which is very unprofessional of her!! Finally after over 5 hours of pushing, she called it and I had an emergency c-section. My son was not breathing when he came out and was black & blue all over. They had to resuscitate him 2x before he started breathing & later that night he ended up having two seizures (due from the labor). It was the scariest moment of our lives.

I went to my first appointment with Dr Harper in Aug she made me feel comfortable and safe. I expressed a lot of concerns and she explained everyone without rushing and She even gave me additional resources. Will definitely continue to see her.

I truly did not enjoy the office Dr. Harper practices in. It does deserve one star for being close to my home. But other than that, it is very unenjoyable. 1st OBGYN appointment I had, I was wrongly told I may be having a ectopic pregnancy. Even after explaining to the doctor there I have always had late periods. This resulted in unnecessary time taken off work due to feeling depressed, stressed, and worried. As well as, unnecessary trips to the office for blood work to check my levels. I was uncomfortable with my 1st meeting with Dr. Harper because for a doctor she did not look very healthy. She was frail and hunched over and didn’t look like vibrant photos or videos I’ve seen online so I was worried that she may not be feeling well. Thinking about it, no one in the office appears healthy except one African American nurse, the woman who would draw my blood, and the ultrasound tech. All the women behind the reception desk are overweight & give off the sense the service provided will be lazy and thrown together. Which for me it always was. What really drew the line was this evening when I had to bring my two small girls with me due to family scheduling issues. The office was totally empty, besides myself and 2 other patients. Yet the entire office was completely non-understanding and would not see me. I asked several questions to see if I could be seen as I was not an hour late, only late by a few minutes but they made it into the most impossible thing. That is a lazy office. Also, the way you have to check in is with a very unsanitary laptop that feels gross and is stained on the touchpad. I always cringed having to do that. Glad I have been able to find another doctor who was able to see me same day, much better office, and extremely friendly with healthy & upbeat staff who make me feel like I’m in good hands and not just another pregnancy or problem.

Dr. Harper took plenty of time to consult with me and answer all my questions. Her exam was thorough and I felt very confident with the results. Her manner is open, friendly and very professional. Recommend strongly.

Absolutely amazing!

Dr. Harper took care of me during my recent pregnancy. She was by far the best doctor at her practice and I always requested to see her. She is so compassionate and always took time to answer my questions. Her knowledge and skill are top notch and I recommend her to any family or friend who asks.

I am well beyond child bearing age but I feel Dr Harper is willing to do the research to answer my questions. She is willing to take the time to explore new medications for my hot flashes. I appreciate her dedication to patient care.

Dr. Harper was friendly and very nice. She answered all my questions and although it was busy I felt like she took time with me. Would recommend.

Dr Harper preformed a hysterectomy for me a year ago and I was so pleased with her care and excellent treatment. Would highly recommend!

Awesome Doctor. Very personable. Had no problems after she performed hysterectomy on me.
