Absolutely dreadful. I had two ablations with Dr. Zimmerman and I can honestly say I have never met a more rude, condescending, socially awkward doctor in my life. My first procedure was a nightmare, and I still have pain in my groin to this day. I went back for a second procedure with great hesitation, but I was hoping he'd have a better understanding and more success a second time. He didn't. Do yourself a favor, and avoid this man. Anyone who says they actually enjoyed talking to him is a synthetic humanoid incapable of genuine human emotion.

I have had both the pleasure of having John Zimmerman as my physician for over 20 years and watching my wife work with him in a nurse/Doctor collaboration. He is caring and always a professional. Last year he performed a A-Fib ablation that became more complicated due to other co-existing factors. It necessitated a longer hospitalization, but ultimately one year later I am doing fine and have had no reoccurrence of A-Fib. He is an amazing clinician and would recommend highly!
