Would not recommend anyone go here. You’d think some body would had instill people skills with the staff or someone was a people person. This place has none. If I could I would give this place 0 stars.

I have a loved one in this nursing home. I won’t go into all the details here but if there was any way possible to move him to a better facility his friends and family would! I am very disappointed as I had heard New Horizons was a well run facility. Definitely not true.

My 92 y/o mother stayed several weeks for rehab after a fall and partial hip replacement. I highly recommend it. The environment is clean and safe. The administrative staff is personable and accessible. The nursing staff is friendly, kind, respectful, and attentive. The food is delicious and they do their best to accommodate the patient's preferences. And, last but certainly not least, the physical and occupational therapists do a wonderful job of rehabbing their patients. This is not your typical rehab/nursing home!

My family member was a patient here for close to four months. While I found the staff to be friendly and attentive to daily needs, the feeding tube became filled with black mold and and the issue was not taken care of until we moved him to another facility. No one seemed to be concerned except the social worker. I would not recommend this facility based on this extremely serious lack of concern for a dangerous situation. The tube was immediately replaced in the new facility.
