Wish I could give them a ZERO!!!! I waited in the waiting room with my 1 yr old screaming for not 1, not 2, but 3 HOURS to then be called back to a bed in the hallway and wait another hour for them to not know when a Dr would see us... I left! But drs were coming out in the waiting room left and right for the ppl with covid / had covid symptoms. That's all that's important anymore. And had the audacity to ask me if she was just teething. Seriously ??? My baby cried herself to sleep & went to urgent care the next morning . I'll never come here again.

Absolutely the WORST place I have had to deal with. Will never step foot in one of their facilities or in any of their physician's offices again. Their bottom line and the COVID narrative (federal dollars) are the ONLY thing that is important to this hospital and it's ADMINISTRATION. This is NOT a HEALTH care facility. They do NOT wish you to be well, they wish for you to have COVID so they are getting paid all they can by the government. If you, in fact, have COVID...this is YOUR hospital. If you don't have it, just go get a Pre-op Covid test...they will make sure you have IT! Don't do it the last week of the year when you have no deductible left...they will SEE to it that you have a positive test(even if you are NOT sick) so that you will have to wait and pay ANOTHER deductible. We have had issue after issue with the physicians and their offices (SO INCOMPETENT and LAZY-NO CUSTOMER SERVICE). My 82 year old Dad came home with COVID last January from this hospital. Unbelievable.

Nurse ask if I was vaccinated I said no, she then asked if I wanted to I said no, she left the room before even putting anything on the computer! I had came by ambulance & was hurting in my chest & my bp was too low, & was dehydrated!! Another nurse came in & started fluids. Had a chest ex ray & EKG…… no one came back to let me know the results of everything!!! My call button did not work & my IV was filling up with blood! I finally got another nurse to take it out & I walked out, after reading my results on MyChart!!!!!

This is my six year old on Christmas morning. He’s crying because his throat hurts so bad. After Longstreet Pediatrics refused to see him yesterday and basically told me “Sorry about your luck,” we ended up in the ER at Northeast Ga Med Center. We spent two hours and he had a Covid test that was negative. NOBODY BOTHERED TO SWAB HIM FOR STREP. I had to demand that the doctor come back and check his throat and ears when they were releasing us to go home because nobody even looked at them. So here we are Christmas morning and now I guess we will go spend some more hours in the ER. Incompetent and ridiculous!!

I would not ever go back to this hospital

Every single nurse was rude and every doctor lied to us about them using a medication that could have saved my family member's life. On my grandfather's death bed (YES THIS HAPPENED WHILE WE WATCHED OUR FAMILY MEMBER DIE) we were standing around the bed and my mom went to wipe her nose. We were crying and we all needed to wipe our nose. Some hussy of a nurse bolts around the bed and gets all up in my mom's face and puts hands and her and yells at my mom for simply wiping her nose. ITS NOT LIKE HER DAD IS DYING IN FRONT OF HER OR ANYTHING. All they care about is getting paid for people dying. There was also SERVERAL Hipaa violations. I don't mean just two or three. I MEAN SEVERAL. Anything from bold face lying to us, to calling us and telling us about A WHOLE DIFFERENT PATIENT THAT WAS NOT EVEN OURS. This place needs to get it together. HOW MANY PEOPLE NEED TO DIE BEFORE NORTH EAST GEORGIA MEDICAL CENTER ACTUALLY DOES THEIR JOB?!

If you want to go to a place where you get put on a room, ignored for hours and get no information from anyone look no further! This place is awful!!!

I am so angry and frustrated. This hospital sold my information to an insurance company who has consistently sent me emails about changing my Medicare coverage. How can they do that? Also, being an agent - I know how important it is to have good coverage. These insurance companies and agents are so convincing to try and get people to change their coverage. How is this hospital knowledgeable enough to recommend that a person change their coverage? An elderly person could be talked into changing their coverage from a really good plan to a plan that does not cover nearly as much. This hospital would be responsible is my opinion. I had no idea they would be selling my information to an insurance company so I could be hounded to change my coverage. Beware!

Agree with the other negative reviews.My mother spent a week there after throwing up blood.They didn't do a CT Scan, Refused to do an endoscopy.Sent her back to rehab.One week later she was much worse and I sent her to Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. They did a CT and an Endoscopy within 24 hours. Diagnosed her with acute esophagitis and put her on medications.NGMC was SLOW, wasted time and money. Did not diagnose her illness. Did not properly treat her illness and caused her to have to go BACK into rehab again.They were more worried about Covid protocols than addressing a serious illness, or taking care of my mother.NEVER go here unless it's a last resort. Then.....pray.
