I had been having severe headaches for several months and I had seen my internest and neurologist and nothing was working. Everyone was so nice and showed me so much respect Dr. Slack spent about 45 minutes my first visit asking me questions and seemed truly concerned. He ordered an MRI and within a couple of weeks he did injections in my neck which did give me some relief. Everyone at the braselton office from the receptionist to Dr. Slack himself were wonderful.

I just had a follow up visit with Dr. Slack following facet joints injections. This is the second time for this procedure with Dr. Slack. The first time it didn't relieve my pain, but the second time it worked. Be sure and see Dr. Slack even if you have to wait longer. He was very professional and staff was proficient and helpful. Take the 4 Valium pills as the procedure is somewhat painful.

My name is Mrs.Raynor I have been see doctor P.Tennent Slack for over the past 3 years he as help my Tremendously with my care he also has the best staff I came in is office in so much pain and goin to see him and doing my Procedures has help me so much over the years I will recommend him to anyone that needs pain management I meet him through a friend that was seeing him also and referred him to mi he’s a great doctor love him thanks for all your help doctor slack.

Dr. Slack so arrogant doesn’t care to listen to what you have to say. When he did my procedure he played loud music, he didn’t give me anything to relieve the pain before he started the injections, and the pain from the injections was excruciating. I was still in hurting after a couple weeks and wasn’t allowed to see him, but had to see a nurse practitioner who told me she wouldn’t give me any pain medication until I completed physical therapy. After that visit I left and went to find another doctor. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone!!!

My most resent visit to receive facet joint injections with Dr. Slack was disappointing. The first time I had these injections I was given medication to relieve discomfort during the procedure. This time the procedure was performed without pain relief. The pain I endured was extreme and unnecessary. I am fearful of any further intervention.

Dr. Did not review my chart prior to procedure, consequently, did not have proper medications ready. He asked me what medications he used in a procedure that was done more than a year before and yelled at me when I couldn't tell him. Also seemed he was in a rush to get done. Gave me medication and did not wait long enough for medication to work--I felt all six painful injections. Bottom line is patient seemed to just be a path to doolars.
