List of Pierpont Brown Iii's Reviews
First and foremost let me say this does not reflect on Dr Brown! He is an incredible surgeon and that is why we drove 2 hours to have my colonoscopy done with him. I spent June 8 prepping and had a reaction causing me to call the nurse from our health plan. We got up at 5 am and drove to the hospital arriving at 7:40 for my 8:00 colonoscopy. After signing in, The registration desk called me to come to the phone. The endoscopy dept said Dr Brown had been double booked and they couldn't get me in till 11:45 . At 9:30 I was about to leave and they said they would try to slip me in. We waited till 10:30 and I finally said enough. Then when they called back to endoscopy, they said they were JUST about to call me back!! I understand delays and issues but communication would have been expected. Why was I sent to the end of the line when I made this appointment in May and drove from North Carolina? The scheduler definitely messed this up! You double book an oil change, not a colonoscopy! All that miserable prep for nothing!
Extremely professional and nice. Had the procedure at Gainesville Surgery Center and from the Preoperative Nurse to the dude David Boyd who woke me up everyone was fantastic. I would go back for any Surgery or procedure here.
A kinder person I have never met nor more professional a doctor than Dr Brown. I had been miss diagnosed by a gastro doctor who overlooked a tumor following a recent colonoscopy he had performed on me. When the pain became unbearable Dr Brown changed his scheduled to accommodate my pain and performed a reconnect on my colon by removing 20" of it. I went from the possibility of having stage 3 cancer to a pathology report showing my cancer to be a stage 2. Dr Brown is the real deal both as a physician and as a human being-the same also applies to his staff. Both he and his team were always available with answers to my many questions-I was never rushed. God Bless Dr Pepper Brown for all the work he does... Colette D
This dr can come in the room, look at a lump under the skin and with his x-ray vision be able to tell if it cancer or not! He possess a magic that only scans and biopsies can see! And if that's not enough, he'll magically disappear from the room 5 mins after seeing you, and still gets to charge for a full 30 min appt. Truly impressive and I think he should change his name to Dr. Houdini! But in all seriousness, getting a second opinion after seeing this guy could save your life!!!
I was a new patient.. was brought into a room at 10:30 and left there. At noon I got dressed and left. What upsets me more, no one came in to even tell me what was going on. No, I would NOT RECOMMEND! Sitting there with no clothes on for an hour and a half. Going to see Dr Mullis.. he’s taking me right in.
I would give less than 1 star for the horrible customer service if there was that option. First, they gave me the wrong information prior to my visit surprising me with a $150 office visit. Second, they sent an additional bill for $168 after telling me I owed nothing additional at my office visit. Third, they have never responded to the voicemail I left regarding this bill or the 2 disputes that were sent through the NEGA billing department. Additionally, I find the amount of the bill to be outrageous particularly since I shared my office visit with my mother. I also know that they are billing me as an individual, who was considered self pay at the time of my visit, much more than insurance and Medicare will pay. This reflects very poorly on Dr. Brown. It makes me question his thoroughness. Will he give me partial results only to want a couple of months later to tell me there is an issue? How do I know that he will be thorough in his exam and follow through when he does not make sure that his staff is properly trained? Also, should I commit to having a procedure at his office, how am I to know what the final billing amount is? I am very disappointed in this office and their lack of professionalism.
Amazing surgeon. Best patient care. Fantastic bedside manner.
Awesome Surgeon highly recommend!!!!
Dr.Foxhall and his Staff are the best..
Dr. Brown is the most caring doctor I know. Not only is he educated in all the latest medical techniques, he is considerate not only of the patients knowledge of how he will be medically cared for, but also including the family in all areas of what is to be expected in the treatment and care of the patient. He is willing to take the time to ease the concerns of all involved in the process. I would put my life and the lives of the ones I love in the hands of this doctor whenever needed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
